And Rob5230 you're bang on there...I've had 4 from Sutton Coldfield now, the Taffy and Richard pups were 8 weeks old when I brought them home and the Alex half x I have now was a couple o days short of 7 weeks old. However, the Kubla 3/4 bred was 16 weeks when he came to Scotland and from the start it was a total nightmare...just hadn't been socialised and that 8 -14 week window had been missed and it showed...suffered from severe separation anxiety...in the field the dog was everything you'd wish for and you wouldn't know he had psychological problems...and was shaping into a decent animal but he was basically impossible to live with...however, he was killed at 14 months old...tragic yeah but to be honest a huge breath of fresh air...the dog basically took over my life... Dan...had all the physical attributes but was let down by a lack of socialisation at a crucial stage... In direct contrast is the collie x greyhound which came to Scotland from Wales 3 weeks ago at 15 weeks of age...farm bred and reared...seen it all...well used to folk and all the goings on which happen daily on a farm...bold and outgoing this pup is as well balanced as I have ever seen...
