Are these morons for real , do they not understand that in these times of financial unsertainty ( resession ) . This country cannot keep shelling out money it simply does not have ! .This is our money they are wasting by getting the goverment to put on hold the cull . At this moment in time this is the only viable option that we have available to us to try & help lower the amount of TB that the cattle are catching . Also surley these people as in ANTI'S must be breaking the law by putting peoples addresses out there without permmission ? . I could go on & on about the sheer ignorance these people seem to have about the farmers & thier livestock. Sorry folks but this boils my piss :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

they need to be controlled, but what surprised me was the scientist, who been on the cull before, 10 years ago i think said killing them (now) wont stop the spread of TB now .??

The previous trial did conclude that culling would cause an increase in badger movement/contact and so an increase in reactors. Yet other reports conclude that culling could reduce reactors by up to 30%. The badger cull is beyond science and logic, it's purely politics and emotion.

The ultimate solution will be to vaccinate the cattle but as they said last night the EU won't grant that yet as there is confusion with vaccinated animals and genuine reactors.

My tuppence worth, get them on the general license and get the population right down, then after say 3 years reassess the tb threat. Give the farmers the right to protect their livelihoods. But there's genuinely more chance of snow in July than that happening.
