Middle of December I usually put mine up but this year my daughter wants to put it up 1st of December . She's 12 now and first year she hasn't mentioned Santa so I will make the most of what Christmas spirit might be left

Isn't the difference between joining the foreign legion and the British army that the foreign legion will take anybody ? I could be wildly wrong tho but I watched a documentary years ago on them , it centred around a British guy who had joined years ago and if I remember correctly it was Christmas time and they made a big deal of the celebrations . My daughter plays football for a girls team . This season she has played against another girls team who had a player who was insane and ripped her team to bits . The kid looked boyish but just thought that it could be a tom boy . Afterwards my daughter said the girls on the other team where calling the kid "kyle" . When the coach mentioned to other coach they said the kids name was Kylie but was called Kyle as a nickname . Modern day it does make you wonder

In a perfect world having a dog license like a driving licence could work . You put in some time before even getting a dog and go to classes and watch people training other dogs etc and you get a general dog license that would cover golden retrievers and generic dogs . If u wanted a powerfull dog you had to do that part of the license , watch bite training with those dogs to actually see the damage they can do , learn from experienced dog owners and trainers etc I've seen opposition to that idea on here before and I can't remember why the opposition but I imagine it would spell the end f

That is the problem I suppose their will always be the next best thing for these people. A dog like the xl bully needs a strong minded owner who knows how to train dogs and can see them for what they are . A very powerfull and strong dog that needs to be treated as a dog and not a fuzzy fur baby . Years and years ago I seen a Belgium malinois for the first time knowing nothing of them and instantly thought one day I will have one of those. I bought a couple of books on them and soon realised they probably weren't the dog for me . File them under an animal I'd like to have but haven't g

On the subject of banning the breed I don't like the idea of banning things but the truth is they have become massive popular recently and the calibre of human that has been getting them has been quite low leading to the attacks. If the dogs only attacked the owner I'd say carry on and let nature take its course but with it being the children that always seem to be getting it a ban seems the only way to stop these people from themselves and to stop the attacks.

Comparing them by saying that I think if all the money thrown at power slapping was diverted towards arm wrestling arm wrestling would be a much bigger success . I made a post on here about it before (not sure where) Arm wrestling has a place in everybody's heart and mind . Everyone has seen it in pubs and in school or at home . Everybody has had a go at it at some point . I'd love to see where it would get to with major backing I don't think I've met anybody that hasnt said power slapping is anything other than stupid . The only thing that gets people talking about it is the insane
