It's 22 lb from a lake/reservoir 20 yrs ago....16 lb from the river both on dead baits...there's some good pike fisht along the Wye...plenty of 20 lb and a few 30 lb fish caught every season Steve Unbelievable 53lb River Wye pike brace banked | Angling Times WWW.ANGLINGTIMES.CO.UK Alex Hughes had a session to remember banking to enormous pike in what was the brace of a lifetime from the River Wye. When I was working on the fibre and telecoms network,early 2000's ,a lad I worked alongside bought a place out in Bulgaria...spent 15k and had a beautiful little house and some land...the place needed roller shutters to stop it getting emptied when he wasn't there he used to pay the local gypsies ( in old box sets of Makita tools lol)to stay on the ground and look after the place... remember him saying that the houses all had copper straps from the roof to the floor ,on to big ground spikes because of the thunderstorms and weather out there... electric was a bit hit and miss Not spoke
