  1. That's a corker mate, got exactly the same rifle and it's spot on a proper classy bit of kit, bargain price
  2. Quality, nicest pfs I've laid eyes on
  3. Cheers Carlstoke, bit heavier than 9.5mm steel @54 grains, bet they pack a punch!
  4. Nice going, lovely catty that. Do you have any idea how much the hex nuts weigh?
  5. Diana have a very good reputation. The 54 is a heavy beast, and I'm pretty sure it's a fixed barrel side lever. As far as out of the box break barrels go I have only heard good things about the Walther lgv, verminhunters tv did a review of it on youtube, impressive gun wiithout needing tuning
  6. Go on son and the springer takes another few! I know how you feel about mixie I thought someone was pulling my leg when I heard it was man made, just plain wrong
  7. I've been thinking about making some hazel sticks, just haven't happened upon many copses yet! I reckon a pair about 5ft with a sliding ring would be pretty versatile for different heights
  8. Saw one of the lads at the range with one of those SFS hw95 tuned jobs (can't remember the name) lovely bit of kit any bit as good as my prosport
  9. Love it! Bet it would make a handy monopod rifle rest too. Shame to sell it
  10. Cheers lol it was hunkered down in some thick brambles which made it possible! I've seen this with the younger rabbits they are a bit less wary and just try to hide rather than disappear
  11. Just to update this thread. Went down the range tonight the 4.52's were spot on turns out I'd over lubed them so dried them off and picked out any bent skirts and the groups were unreal 5 pence piece at 20yds. But, there were a lot of damaged pellets. Definitely going to try the express and RS
  12. Not if you enjoy using it, there's nothing sweeter than a tuned springer. Bed bet is to give one a go, but there a different ball game to PCP's
  13. Gotta be the springer In all fairness they are opposite ends of the stick I've heard a lot of good about both but I'm a springer man
  14. Another one for ebay. The 9.5mm steel should be enough I would have thought, works on rabbits!
  15. Cracking photo! Always makes me laugh how flat they look, but this one looks like a frizz ball
  16. Joint the rabbit, dust in flour, seal in frying pan with oil and butter. Into the slow cooker with carrot onion new tatties and veg/chicken stock. Cook for as long as you dare!
  17. Well done that man the springer does it again Not only are you doing better without the .177's sounds like your having a damn good time without a PCP A few days on carrot soup and you won't even need that NV lol
  18. Not had a squirrel with one yet! Just a handful of rabbits and a woody
  19. Lovely piece that, like how you have crafted the ttf tips. Got a yew fork last night looking forward to sorting it out!
  20. I think I'll leave them for the comp shooters! Don't mind putting money into my pellets (let's face it it's the cheapest ammo your going to buy) but these are a bit nit picky, my sentiments echo the above if your getting great groups with your set up already you probably won't get much out of these
