  1. Please do lets have a laugh! Bet it's a nightmare to cock
  2. Looking forward to seeing this. Bet it will turn out to be a corker! Did they give a reason for the short barrel? I know the imp has a shortened barrel but do they improve the gun?
  3. Ey up folks. Due to the fact that I found a bargain mtc genesis UL, I'm letting this scope go. I bought it about two months a go new from Kirklees guns, and it's had about 6 outings at the range. It's been well looked after, the glass is immaculate and there are no ring marks (see pics). The only thing I have done is reparallax to 25yds. Comes in original box with manual and scope covers. It cost me £45 new looking for £25 picked up or £30 posted, PayPal if poss. Cheers J
  4. Bigmac please don't stop swapping guns. Somebody has to test them and I can't afford it
  5. Ey up folks. Thought you would all like to have a laugh at my newly finished night vision add on!! It's a mess but it works. Cost £70 all in. If anyone is interested in the parts I will use I'm happy to put links up, but be prepared for a long wait in shipping! Haha Cheers J
  6. I can have a look in trader in Shipley for you, let you know if there's anything worth travelling for? Tends to have plenty of old/nacked springers. Picked up a tx200 for £200 from there before
  7. With your current list I'm not sure what you can get that will give you anything different? If you are thinking along the lines of a PCP, what about an FX?
  8. Some constructive responses here keep them coming! Personally about 45yds. I parallax and zero my scope to 25yds, so the closer to that the better. I use the parallax to range find and find it very useful, saw it on anston ftc website. But shooting past hft ranges parallax error becomes a bit more of an issue so I leave it alone
  9. Ooh err... Not tried it yet, only tonight have I bothered to actually fit it in the rifle! First impressions are good, nice clear image, love the reticle. Like the parallax adjustment too, much less bulky than AO but a less fiddly than messing about with the locking ring on the objective lens. My kind of scope, set it and leave it. Thinking of getting some bkl mounts though, I think the bisley sportsmatch I have on at the min are canting it a little :/
  10. I'm liking that. Actually looks quite a smart rifle! Nice handy weight, bet the trigger is pretty decent on a Diana too.
  11. There's a 2nd hand Diana 52 on Blackpool air rifle's site?
  12. I think my barrel is either slightly tighter or less worn maybe? I can feel the 4.52's scraping the rifling as they go in, the 4.51's are so much smoother.
  13. Well down the range last night with the exact 4.52's. Shots were all over the place, thought it was me so really concentrated on technique. Still going all over. Thought it was maybe the scope, not the scope. Think my prosport hate's the 4.52's, back to 4.51's I think
  14. Same here, seen a few downstream of bingley
  15. Yes go springer only! I secretly enjoy it when I'm at the range and someone's pcp runs out of air or when there chatting about pcp troubles like leaks and shot count, faulty mags etc and my springer just keeps going! They are just so independent and reliable. If that's what you value most, then you will never be satisfied with a pcp.
  16. Get out. You have just robbed some poor sod there haha that's a steal great find!
  17. Ho ho holy cow that is a bit nice!!! Sorry to be rude but could you tell us all how much the full rifle/tune up etc cost you?
  18. On a bit of a side note I've just finished a tin of 4.51 exacts, they were quite loose to fit in the barrel, some more than others. Just opened a tin of 4.52 and they are a much tighter fit. Not seeing any real change in accuracy but doesn't feel right! Anyone else experienced this?
  19. I can only really see it making a difference on a springer. He's probably canting the rifle differently if he's getting a different zero, or he's not getting his eye alignment right and causing a change in parallax error. That should be the only difference between POI from different shooting positions that I can think of?
  20. Aye makes lovely natural forks. Nice and easy to work with, simple, knot free grain. Bit of sandpaper and danish oil brings them out nicely
