Why bother trying to get them at a good price, if the word was spread through all forums and don't buy them. They will soon get the message. I have not tried them as I am newish re -visitor to the air gun world. For me it would not all be about the money but the quality. I thought decent pellets were expensive at £14 for 500 H&N FTT so I have tried rws superdome in both the hw77 and the hw95.

I just had time for a quick once around the barns and managed to bag two feral Pigeons with the Hw95.

Very interesting, every day is a school day. .22 springers rule LOL.

Hello guys I did not want to be one of those guys that asked for help then never came back to say thank you for all your help. And to let you all know how it is all going with the highs and the lows. I have dropped some clangers but it is all good fun. Did I tell you about setting up the scope on the 77 and it was a bit dark in the barn so I zoomed the scope up to 9 to check where the pellets were landing, then the next time I went out I missed the bird because when I put my eye to the scope I could not see a thing LOL.

Hello guys Can someone spell this out for a newish guy. So are we saying the .177/4.5 is more accurate because it travels straighter but has not got the hunting power of a .22/5.5. But this only happens for some people who can only shoot one ore the other. Is this a pcp thing or is it the same for springers. PS dose it help if you put your tongue to the left or right side of your mouth LOL.

With all this talk about hw100's not going well I am pleased I have a couple of good springers to be going on with LOL. My turn will come for a hw100 but it's springers all the way for now. I hope all the practice helps me for when I get a PCP.

Reading your posts mac, my new 95 was all over the place the other week on it's first night out and I wanted to chuck it in the skip on the way out the farm but the next night I was hitting tins the full length of the barn and the next night I was knocking woodies off the grain dryer lol. It's not just me that gets down when thins don't work out, that makes me feel a bit better about my shooting. Thing is mac I will have to make my choice later on in the year.....4.5.....5.5........sportster or kt........long or short......Hope your .22 comes good and that will be one less thing for me to fr

Before it all starts there as good as each other in the right hands for hunting be it fur or feather some cant shoot 177 for there life just as some cant shoot 22 its what suits you that counts and yes some rifles are good very good but at the end of the day or night its not the rifle or cal its the shooter behind the rifle that makes the mistakes not the rifle or cal iv try,d 177 and dont like it but ill not bring it down any more as iv seen how good they are in the right hands atvbmac  Thanks for clearing that up for me bigmac, I would of

Guys, just explain for a new idiot .22 and .177 for hunting. I thought the .177 was for targets ?. I don't want to drop a bollock when I save all my pennies up. Keep me on track, you have done a good job so far. Real nice bigmac, it's good when a plan comes together. I fuss like mad before I buy cos when the money has gone you have a long time to live with mistakes. When I buy I never look back because I have taken the time to make the best choice for me LOL.

Hello guys I have had another good night around the barns with the hw95 and the Nikon Pro Staff 7, not sure if it's the 95 or the pro staff but what a good week for woodies. With a bit of look I may get my mini chrono tomorrow, I am getting it from Ramsbottoms on the low cost post.

Doesn't matter what you have ,it's still need servicing wether it a springer or pcp and you could hear of every make gun going wrong as well , know such thing is made which might have no problems When I add a PCP to go with my springers my first choice is the HW100 but when I hear of people having bother it gives me the jits. Think it's because I am just getting my line up sorted and don't want to drop a clanger LOL.
-
If the 100 is the rifle to have, how often do they need service work as I hear of them going wrong ?
-
Dogs and lamps ? If that don't work call the Army lol.
-
I think some of the SFS specials are engraved you could ask the question, it's only a phone call.
-
That should keep you busy, there is not enough hours in the day for me LOL.

Another good night around the barns and now I am home to chill out with a cool Fosters.
-
Nice one, pleased to see it was not just me having a good day.
-
Well it's been a great day and after work I got to bag some woodys and I am having some ice cool fosters, dose it get any better than this ?. All is well in springer world lol.

Hello guys It's been a red hot day working on the farm and the only thing that kept me going was the thought of getting the hw95 out after work. I have had a good night bagging two woodys and a blue. I knocked down another four but they landed on the roof. I dropped them off at a mates house on the way back as he likes to cook them. I am still looking forward to tuning the hw77 then I can swap over and get the 95 sorted. Both hw's are good but I know they will respond to a bit of internal loving lol.

Thanks for that feed back MG, I may end up with a 100 in time but for now I will sit on the side lines and snipe. Springers rule LOL
-
Sorry Chris an not sure what that means ? Have you tried other springs as I had made my mind up nor to use a vmach as I have read articles where people had taken them back out. The welsh willy and the vortek seem to have good feed back. There has been a reference to a 77 trigger block that may have thread lock on it ? are they just hard to get off ? Thank you for the info. Cheers Mike.

Interesting the people are having bother with the hw 100.........I thought the were top draw.

Hello there When you say ..... usually ok, do weihrauch hone them at the factory and can you see the actual hone marks. When I was thinking it through like a classic bike blue print it was one of the first things that I thought may be overlooked in mass production. Like any black art there seems to be a mixture of technical know how and personal preference mixed up with a bit of tuner personality and end user loyalties and bigging up. I like the fact that some of the youtube .....er's have fitted one kit and then taken it out and tried another one and shared the things that have not worke
