Hello guys Just picked up a new hw95k on the way home from work (Friday early finish). I am thinking what would be a good scope to use with it ? My last one was a HW95k stamped and it said Luxus on the box and it hade a large moderator on it and it was nice to shoot out the box. Todays rifle is stamped HW95 and it says HW95k on the box, not sure if this one is shorter and it has the same large moderator fitted. This new 95k is much less twangy than the last one...........Happy days, I have missed the 95 which I passed on to a good friend to get him going as he would have still been makin

Hello Jon I know what you mean about 95's and would have to say that if could only have one HW it would be a 95k. Where did you get yours done ?

I forgot to add the new 99s to the collection and what a little cracker that turned out to be. Have had it tuned yet ? Better on here than the other forum Now then villaman The 99s is standard but I thought I would put a drop in kit, may be a Welsh Willy and a de burr when I get time. I sprayed that vp90 air gun spray down the cocking arm area for now but must strip that and trim it back a bit to make sure it is not catching. I think I have a price match at 295 for a hw95k so am going down straight down from work tomorrow to pick it up all being well so I think I should start on

It's not that we can only have sub 12 pound rifles that bugs me it's the fact that some pellets can take it a bit over if you have it in the high 11's. Yes I know what you are going to say that if we had 15 pounds we would say the same thing but there should be a percentage to take into account of all the range of pellets.

Hello John I have tried that but it's not like the real thing. I could do with an adjustable quality scope/ torch mount as I only have one of them plastic figure of 8 things and the light needs to point down a bit.

Now then bigmac Are you still sanding down that hw100 sporter stock and changing the colour ? It must be a super light weight and 1/2" thinner after all that rubbing down LOL.

Hello guys It,s work and play tomorrow as I have just got a new scope to set up on my tuned HW98-22 in a new 95 stock which looks real nice. The scope is a Hawke Airmax 30 SF in a 3-12x50 and it,s on a sportsmatch DM 70 one piece mount.

Hello guys it's been a while since I have been on the forum due to over working which is no good but it pays the bills. Thanks again for the advice that got me restarted. I got a hw77 to start off with and then things took off from there. I have a hw100fsb 177 and a hw100kt in 22 and to go with the 77 which is a 22 I have a SFS98 in 177 and a tuned 98 in 22 and a tuned 97 in 22. I got a friend started in the sport and he got my 95k which I am about to replace. I use them all around the farms that I work on as a joiner builder.

You could get a rim fire and a licence over there and bring that with you but could you hunt in Holland with that ?. It seems daft that you could have a rime fire but not a PCP ?. What a world we are living in.

If you got the 99s it would last a long time not just the quality but he could use it as an adult light weight for years to come and if you do some work on it you may well want to use it your self. I know money don't grow on trees but it would be a good long term investment.

That about sums it up, I seen a you tube where a rat had time to jump out the way before the pellet got there Lol.

The weather has been crap this year and I have been working out in it every day, I just don't feel like after work. I go in the big shed a couple of times a week just to keep my springer-hand in but it's still cold. I have got 3 more HW's and can't wait for it to get warmer, off to work out side latter on.

It will be interesting to se what you make of PCP, is it a 177 ? Nice to see the dog is still smiling lol.
