  1. Has anyone got a data sheet for the actual weights of pellets as I have been told that it is not always on the tin or may differ a bit from what it says. If the weight input is not spot on i won't have the result I need to be sure i am not over ? What about a digital scales, where to buy and which make do you all use ?. Thanks for the feed back guys.

  4. Thanks for the replies guys, panic over. The one thing I will say is that the bracket was a bit miss shaped so I had to wet and dry it to make it a better fit. Has anyone had that on there's.
  5. Hello villaman I tried again tonight and was not in such a rush. I think what I was doing was checking the line up with the plastic tool and this was messing up the reading so I turned it off as I checked the line up from shot to shot and all was well. BTW I got one of them fixing straps that you recommended and it was just the job cheers.
  6. Thanks vm That sounds much better.
  7. Thanks Chris I was hopping that was the case. I had a quick go tonight and have a break barrel so I checked for line up with the tool each time and it through up error. I think I should have just trusted that it would be lined up but it's the first time I have used one. I will try again tomorrow when I have more time. Also the best od the light had gone.
  8. Hello villaman I think I will end up with a hw100kt but what is regged ? is it set never to get to 12flbs ?
  9. Hello guys I got a combro mk4 cb-625 from Ramsbottoms the other week and have just got round to trying it tonight. Both my rifles are .22 so will it know that as I can't see any settings for .22 or .177 ? The light was a bit overcast and there was a cloud/ sunshine on the screen. I got some readings but not sure about it ? Could you talk me through it.
  10. The only thing that I can add to this advice is that if you were shooting on said types of land it would give all the types of people that don't like this sport more amo to get it stopped all together. Try to find a club in your area and mix with like minded people and some thing will come up. Also do some reading on BASC web site.
  11. Check out the Jack Pyke scope rifle slip in camo, I got one and like it.
  12. Why not? Hello there I have a HW77 and a HW95k so I think the next one will be a pcp, but who knows may be one day. I have not seen one for sale in the uk. Hi VWman which do you prefer out of the hw77 and hw95? I am just about to buy one of the two. I went for a look at the HW95 but it wasn't in stock so had a look at the HW77 which I hadn't considered but it looked like a really well made gun. I was tempted to buy it there and then but I still haven't handled the hw95 so I'll wait until I can compare the two. Hello Steve If I could only have one it would be the HW95k bec
  13. Some interesting rifles and jobs. It's nice to be working in the hard times that we are in, and to enjoy your job as I do I consider my self lucky. The cream on the cake is being able buy the odd rifle or two every now and then.
  14. Hello Charlie My mates father inlaw works for MI5 and drives a Jag, the sports car one. He would like people to think he is James Bond but actually he checks the cost of the building work to make sure they are not getting ripped off LOL.
  15. Any body know how long these rifles last ?. Wonder if the will out live a springer.

  18. Nikon Pro staff 7........50mm
  19. What no Napier of London air rifle cleaning kit LOL.
  20. It will soon be time for the barns to be full of grain, ours are getting a deep clean at the moment. The pigeons will be all over it. I am getting them on the grain dryer at the moment.
  21. Plus one for the Napier air rifle cleaning kit villaman. The spray is also good to clean the outside of the rifle as well. I was told to keep the spray away from the scope and lenses though.
  22. More pigeons tonight, I managed to thread a shot past some hanging chain then under a duct over an RSJ and knocked a pigeon straight off the corn driver flat on it's back. The game keeper from the farm was stood with me as I took the shot and he said, bloody hell what a shot. As I am quite newish to the sport I felt some pride in my shooting, what a good feeling. I know that all you lads with lots of experience just take it all in you stride as no big deal but it is all good for me as I improve as I need to get to the next level and the one after that LOL.
  23. RWS Superdome £7.50 for 500 and they are Knocking pigeons down like tent pegs. LOL
  24. Why is it that when you shoot at pigeon that is just out of range or you have messed up your hold over and missed the sound of the shot is different when the pellet connects. More feral pigeons tonight and when I got home the postman had been with a mini chrono and also the ties that villaman put me onto, happy days.
