Whick Torch For Lamping Both In The Barns And Down The Fields.
VWman replied to VWman's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I phoned night scout late Tuesday but no answer but then I parked my van up I noticed there was a message from Joe. Rang again on Wednesday and what a nice guy he is, very helpful. I ordered a t20 package redlight charger, mount, tail switch and two batteries but they don't have card payment so he emailed me a paypal invoice which I sorted that night and he posted that next day. Very pleased with the night scout and the service. Highly recommended and thanks for the help guys. -
F,a,o Vm Thats It Im Getting A Daystate
VWman replied to bigmac 97kt's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Hello Mac It looks like you had a good day. I am looking at a Daystate and an ultimate sporter with my Nephew (who is almost as old as me BTW and makes me feel old when he calls me uncle Mike). I think there is a good chance that we may come back with one of them. I on the other hand I take a lot more time to choose but it's all good fun. Them PCP's with the buddy bottle style look like Rocket launchers LOL. Will you be looking for the paint stripper for that 100 stock before you sell it ? I think you need one of every type of PCP so you can just pick them out of a rack then you wo -
Mark they only do them in .22 but I am sure you know that. Very nice VM, very nice.

Beginners Or Professional Always Go Pcp
VWman replied to downsview's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Hello there I am not sure if you are a new shooter or someone coming back after a long time ?. There should be no good reason why a HW should not shoot ok but I can understand if you want instant results but it may not happen for you even with a PCP. Are you expecting a magic wand ?. Good luck with your search and hope it all comes good for you. -
Hello Ross It will be interesting to see how you got on at the gun shop. Real good advice has been given and as has been said what suits on will not suit the next but the only others to add would be Walther lgu and lgv. I have just been through what you are going through and if it's any help I have a HW95k and it's that good I can't put it down. There was no Walthers for me to look at for me but the HW range is that good that I have no regrets.

Thanks villaman and bigmac but keep your shirts on guys. I know the t20 is nice and neat but it was said that the t38 was the new t20 so wanted to bounce it out there. Is that ok with you two, don't want to upset the pecking order here. Regards Mike. -

I noticed a company called TORCHFACTORY has anyone got one ?. I thought I would give them a call about a white pill for the UniqueFire uf-1405 that I was given yesterday then I could use that for looking around. Edit because it is an IR illuminator. -

I thought t20 would be the way to go but want to Know about what they are calling the new t38 with easy pill change ? In and around barns but also down the fields only for the top of the rifle (red light ) not for spotting just to shoot 10 to 40 yards. The Night-Scout t20 in red light package with charger etc looks like the one, then I noticed the t38 and it is less money ? BTW it's not about the money I just want to get the right one. of the colours if you had to chose just one would red do all the jobs. -

Thank for the help guys. I have been looking at villamans link to night scout site and they are saying that the new t38 has easy change pills so I could get a redlight and a white one. I have seen a torch called a night core srt5 which has all the led colours in one pill and you can dim it on a twist grip. Think it may be USA only. -

Hello Mac I have come home from the BBQ today with a UniqueFire uf-1405 with an IR pill and it looks exactly like that massive torch on your rifle, my nephew give it to me and said swap it for a smaller one LOL. It's big enough to club a rabbit in one hit LOL. I was thinking of putting a white bulb in it what do you think. -

Thanks for the replies lads. I typed the post in real quick before I went out to a family BBQ today and have just landed in. Which torch typo sorry. There seems to be lots of phrases that I don't understand. Red light is that different to IR ? Cree is that a type of bulb/pill ? what actually dose t20.....t38 etc mean ? I was hoping to find a multi colour small with all weather seals with multi power option and tail switch and rechargeable battery. What do you think am I asking to much ? -
I need a scope mounted torch for my HW air rifles. I have had a quick search to remind me of what I have seen on hear bur am confused. I have just been looking at Ward optical site but don't understand about IR. I have an IR illuminator that some one has lent me mounted to an IR viewer that is used when he takes his dogs out and you can see just like the night vision scope, no use to me for shooting. So do I need a white led torch with filters. What is t20 what dose that mean. I only want a light one but good quality with rechargeable and a remote switch. Is there better type of bulb ?

That was good Rez That should answer a lot of questions for people making a choice to buy, only other thing to make it hard for them is the Walther LGU.......all great rifles and any one would do the job. I have a HW 77 which I think of as a 77/97, it's quite new and needs a hand build and a few touches to make it shoot like my mates very old 97. All ours are .22 which seem to be no effort for the good springers if that makes any sense. Does the pro sport stink.....wd40, why not wet and dry and wood oil to feed the stock, beach is a very light colour hard wood when stripped back and woul

Need Some Advice Please Lads

Napier of London air gun spray, fantastic but it stinks. -
What do we think about the s510, like that shrouded barrel. Are they up to the mark ?
-
Underlever, well they are still talking about air sporters after all these years. Modern day underlevers well HW77/97, Walther LGU then there are others bringing up the rear. Great real world rifles that your kids could pass on to there kids. Don't forget to check out Air arms top draw rifles.

Are the Daystate really that good Mac.
-
Is that your only stock or have you got a spare one, just thinking of next week when you want to change it for a Daystate LOL. Nice and Black, I have never seen one like that before. It has a smart look about it.
-
Just seen your last post. Good luck and may the force be with you LOL.
-
When you are up to that level it would have to float my boat in every way, not that I know F all about PCP rifles but when I look I look hard and use my gut-reaction to point the way (also with a few test questions from you guys) then I just use the force to guide me LOL. I am comparing every thing to the bench mark HW and have only used borrowed pcp and have worked out that I could not live with a bolt action, it would have to be a side lever for me. The only other deal breaker for me would be that it would not load twice on a second action of the lever. I really am in the sh one t if you c

Nice to have a twin shock in the back of the garage, I had a 240 pro back in the day. I have a 350 Vesty Bultaco just as a keep sake it's the only trials bike I have left.
-
That looks the dogs bollocks, I kept coming back to a picture of it in an air gun mag while I was chilling out in the lakes. Are we talking of another level above the HW100 in what it can do.

What would you recommend changing them to? Bolt spec wise! Little beauty has a £700 Motad stainless steel exhaust fitted as well as a Scottoiler. Hello mole I would put new Kawasaki bolts back as they are doing a job. I only put stainless on the none structural stuff.
