Sorry VFR. just had this picture of you, and to be fair, a few mallard, on a flight pond, collecting duck shit. Now come on , that has to be a comedy sketch. Sorry Leslie. I honestly don't know what you are on about. Gaz is a good friend of mine and any reference to the Basin can only be either to your Locale or an earlier comment. I've just read the lot and to me the whole thing is mad. To put in context what why I say that is that I had to put up a fancy Marquee for a fellas 40th. As you might imagine that doesn't happen overnight so we had a bit of lead time. Funny thing was, a phone call the morning of the evening of the party, said 40th birthday party guy phones to say where is the tent.? In the context of your dilemma this was huge. Go for them little pink tins and you won't go far wrong. Be prepared to have an experiment though. I'm sure there's lots of different ways and to be sure there must be a way to calm it down a bit. -

Can only comment as I find. To be honest you might as well use pure Cornwall cream but all I'm doing is using what seems to make the stuff last a while. We all know that you can include ingredients to make it last for ever but then it isn't proper home made sauce. Have a go. Small quantities of each might be the best way. I prefer to stick to what I know. -

From what I can gather, there is a restriction on size and height. Also I believe the overlooking neighbours must a bit of a say in the matter. When you think about it though, if everyone of our 30 plus allotments decided to have a tunnel it might not be good on the eye. Would still sort out the cabbage white and various other problems but you can't have everything.

Had you thought about a common greenhouse heater. Admittedly they run on parafin which costs, but is an alternative.
