Preventing Poaching In The Uk

Ch-SUK, Done the lot mate from speargunning to nettng to hooking and a lot more besides. Iv'e been with the best of them and can say that is not poaching. When you pit your wits against someone who lives in our Thirld Planet then you are against the best. The challenge is unbelievable. Similarly, when out in the field or forest wild animals will outdo most opponents. Except the bullet. I hope your end thesis has explored the whole cycle. It's an amazing world we live in and to think that we have just found over 30 new species is quite incredible. -

Mate. It does not matter what documents and certification you are showing. Anyone can get that off the Internet, What you must get is trust. This means the landowners, paddock users and anyone else needs to feel happy and safe in your company. That takes a bit of getting and if you are lucky enough to meet some people who are willing to share then good luck. Until such times it is an uphill struggle. All the best however. -

I think Ch-Suk is onto somehting here. All he has got to put together is an SAS trained alsation, the brains of a navy SEAL,(shit, forgot they ain't got none LOL),able to use det cord as trip wires, silent shotgun, smoke to stop the buggers getting away, telecommunications with every law enforcement officer in the country, not be able to sleep at any time especially between 5.30 an 6.00, drive either a high speed motorcycle or 4 wheel drive, have a crew available with a nice cosy 4.5m RIB and just generally be a bad guy. Yep that sounds easy. Good luck with your tutor. -
Don't think many people understand that comment.

Salmonella. The dreaded blue fly bug. Lead poisoning. Hint of green round the arse end. No mate. How the hell can you go wrong??

So do we have to imagine that this a deer product or idea? You know something fella, there are a hell of a lot more poachable products in the UK. Get yourself into The Australian little man now in this country, the Wild boar,or in fact really treat your tutor with some underwater poaching. Now that would blow his socks off. -

Neil Cooney. This person is an absolute looney. How the hell can you ask a question like that anyway. Is he/she developing the ultimate drone, an underground telescope, the complete Loughborough Uni as spies or what?? Oh? maybe a new line in International dogs without Border conflicts and complete Airport security, Hell, this could go global even as far as China. Do they have poachers over there, Do they really know the meaning of the word, POACHER. Somehow I think not. I'll just kep doing what I do and the family and friends are more than happy. -

Right Design Student. YOU have given us nothing except a question. We have given YOU, I'll admit, a kind of rigmarole answer. Now what exactly is this design project that is going to stop poaching, ANSWER PLEASE. -

Anyone Use A Spaniel At Night With A Longnet?
jok replied to slipper's topic in Gundogs & Retrievers
Maybe I've missed the reason for the question. In fact I must have. You have a dog that's been trained to work, quartering, flushing, sitting to shot and ultimately retreiving. This little dog responds to whistle, hand signal and voice command. Right, he or she might not see a hand signal in the dark but the other atributes are still there. Do you think a lurcher would have any of the aforementioned? Why therefore ask if a Spaniel would do any different? Only an ask. -

Well I'll be damned if I know. Surely Royal decree is for the British Isles but I may well be right off the track here. Some of the guys on the forum will put us both right.. But for saying that, there's nothing wrong with North of the border you Yorkshire git. LOL Get up there and get on with it. Stories I could tell you about the Solway are legendery.
-
Well Joe Durrant. You might be surprised to know that foreshore shooting is by Royal consent. If you can access the foreshore without trespass then go for it. You only have to get to the Solway Firth or similar and you'll find all the local help you need. There's a guy on here who clearly likes to be listened to,Leslie, and why not. Give him a PM and you'll be in.
