Terry pal. Do not bag your onions. Grade them size wise I've biggest to smallest. Tie a piece of twine to a short stick, 6 ins ish, start with the biggest onion, (you MUST let the green tops die off to brown,) take the onion and twist the neck round the twine a couple of times and pull down. Do again, opposite then fill in the gaps. As you go on you will create an onion string which believe me helps to store them a lot better and you will be using them well into March.
