  1. Well bird. I think you need some help. Lol have a look at Terryd's posts. Mind you, in fairness, he grows some wicked weeds. Bless him. He knows not what he's doing. Love it. Jok.
  2. Know what? It's not bad really. Tried all the couriers and you have to work with insurance, delivery etc, etc. £50 is about the norm. Some are a bit more but hey ho if our friend wants a Jok box then so be it. Can't wait to see his pics . Jok.
  3. Well that's a result. Sir blessed has asked me to send him a double Bowback which of course I will. Slight mods but ok. How long is the arm of the forum and how good it is to help folks in other places. I am chuffed to bits. I should add, Melbourne, Australia. Jok.
  4. Without a doubt one of the best and the money sounds good. I sold my old 686 and have recently bought the Silver Pigeon with all the bits for £1050 so I say good buy. Jok.
  5. Gaz. How gullible are people?
  6. Flipping top hole old boy. What a cracker of a day. Jok.
  7. Just give Jim a shout and he'll sort you. Jok.
  8. Butcherboy. Maybe I didn't word it correctly because that post wasn't meant to slag anyone off. I'm sure Dave is a brilliant trainer as is Ian Openshaw who I have been with on many occasions and indeed whilst a coupling was going on. No. What I was trying to say , even now it sounds wrong, is that a Springer Spaniel is what it is. It is not a Buccleugh spaniel even if the biggest landowner in the UK owns the name, no offence meant.
  9. Sound pal. Good luck with the comp and tell Walshie to enjoy himself. Jok.
  10. Terry d. I am in awe of your Califlower. Our whole collection of gardens could not show what you have in that one picture. We have been slammed by just about everything and we can only hope for late varieties. Jok.
  11. Go and watch a field test for either breed and I think any questions will be answered.lol.
  12. Eh up Gruffalo. How the hell are you ? Bit quiet and your lads not doing much. Come on, cheer us all up with something new.jok.
  13. Nice one for a Jock with no knowledge.Lol. Bet your lot are chuffed. Now try it in an open garden and post the results next year. It's been a good year down here. Some great results. Pics to follow. Jok.
  14. It's just nice to do a tidy job. Thanks for the comments. I'm going mad with the marquees so give me a bit of breathing space if you want anything making. There are 2 triple bow backs and a poachers in the workshop. Chuffed to bits. Jok.
  15. How nice to have someone like Jim to call on and get good results. I'm chuffed to bits to have him as a friend on here. Jok.
  16. Gaz. Let me know when you've made the first hundred nets and I'll bring the pegs up to you.lol.
  17. Tidy looking net son. You'll be wanting some oak pegs next? Jok.
  18. Viewed from the sofa. Nice catch as well. Bushing dogs should have no problem there.jok.
  19. Know. What Terry. Them flat bottomed onions are a Dutch breed. Maybe they got mixed in. Good eater though. Jok.
  20. Flipping right on. Never gave it a thought. Next though I need to understand how that has made such a difference if indeed that is the cause. Are you suggesting the ground has been softened up too much I wonder? Jok
  21. Terry pal. Do not bag your onions. Grade them size wise I've biggest to smallest. Tie a piece of twine to a short stick, 6 ins ish, start with the biggest onion, (you MUST let the green tops die off to brown,) take the onion and twist the neck round the twine a couple of times and pull down. Do again, opposite then fill in the gaps. As you go on you will create an onion string which believe me helps to store them a lot better and you will be using them well into March. The Kelseas, of which I've grown about 200 need different storage because they do tend to soften up by late January. However,
  22. Am I allowed to post on here the plight of a 2 year old suffering with cancer? It's a tear jarker. Jok.
