Mate . As well we all know, the nets don't purse with thorns in them. We, as you know started using long nets and through nets, stop nets and gate nets. No point in going for pain with no gain. Jok.

I'm a great believer in green veg with this dish , in particular asparagus and French beans. Potato layers with onion and ga rlic, black pepper. Really nice red and it's all good. Jok.

Having broken the tip on my Grays I contacted about a replacement. Unfortunately they could not replace as time has passed. On an earlier post, some of you guys suggested the repair which I have done and am pleased. HOWEVER? My new Hardy 9'6" -# 7 is absolutely the bollocks. Reason being that the TD7 was not available and would I accept something comparable. Can't wait to get out with it. They also offered me me a pro Hardy but to be honest, I probably wouldn't know the difference. Now I am the proud owner of a repaired Grays 9' and the new Hardy 9'6". Look out you trout.jok.

Absolute favourite. Only use the loin and I make the gravy with fruit, either sweet apple or pear. My goodness that looks good. Jok.

I know this doesn't answer the question, but, you will get better prices from the local butchers than a game dealer. Google local butchers and some of the big pubs because they are really into game at the moment. Good luck. Jok.
