    Just done exactly that repair. I've ordered a new upgrade anyway but just had to do a fix. It's reduced the rod length obviously but it won't bother me at all. Thanks for the replies guys. Jok.

    Right you guys. A tester. Was fishing the other day and broke my tip section at the 3rd eye. It's greys Platinum and I like it. (Liked it). LOL? Although I've ordered a new rod, I would like to repair or replace the piece. Now, I could reduce the rod to 8'6" but before doing that I want to have a go at repair. Sleeve maybe. Any ideas. Jok.

    Had a mistaken litter of the above. Friend of mine had litter sisters, Spic and Span, and they were brilliant. Mind you both sire and dam were impeccable both winning for me in various events. (Not field trial but everything else). I ran one of the dogs for all his life and can honestly say it was a pleasure and a privilege to have had him as a companion. His heart was big as a bucket and when it came to foreshore in choppy conditions astounding. How anyone could badmouth this breed is beyond me. That's not knocking Dan by the way.     Where I live, yes you are correct. We have a hell of a lot to go at. Saying that we had a walk out on Sunday and returned with 4. Really nice morning none the less. Jok.

    Ashby De La Zouch. We had our first little outing with ferrets on Sunday. Just the odd purse and the long nets. Steady 4. We've been getting the big numbers with the rifle. Jok.

    What an emotive subject. Never tried for coarse fis in my life. Offered a day out on a trout lake the other day. Took my lightweight fly rod and a very lightweight leader together with a very strange size 16 nymph and bagged up in about 3 hours. Strange no other anglers caught anything.jok.

    Probably due to the moult. The birds are getting ready for cold weather so laying is not paramount. Always a quiet time. Think about a timed lamp in the house. Daylight is another thing that drastically alters laying. A lamp helps. Rats are now looking for food and where better than a free supply of chicken food. The birds don't like this . I imagine there's lot's more reasons like clean water, lack of vitamins, red mite, shit it goes on and on. Jok.

    Yes my friend. But if your land owners dogs or a casual walker spots the detritus then you are going to get a complaint. Better the fox digging than the dog walker finding. Jok
