I don't think that Obama and Bliar were alike on the political sense. Obama tried the socialist approach with things like Obamacare, but the rich don't want to pay for the poor, especially as there are more and more of them. Obama was leaning to the left and Bliar was most certainly leaning to the right. Obama tried to bring in affordable health care and education. Bliar sold the hospitals and schools to the highest bidders, who ironically were predominantly American. Bliar was arguably more right wing than Thatcher.

And today in Parliament Corbyn whinges on about Boris's future broken promises. Work that out; broken promises on policies that haven't yet been started let alone finished.
-
That depends on who he's up against. Last time around it was the least worst scenario.

Employment is about the only one positive aspect: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/12/2/20970521/trump-administration-achievements The rest isn't.

This is a man who is finding out for the first time in his life that he can be held to account, and he don't like it.

That is how Corbyn get elected. Loads of Conservative supporters bought Labour Party membership and voted Corbyn in. Best money they ever spent. ?

There's a couple of girlfriends I ought to have kept touch with. But their husbands might not have been happy about that.

My two Mk. IV Springers are at least thirty years old, probably nearer 40, never to my knowledge been lubricated and they creak and groan when being set. But they shut quicker than a rat can move.

I had a Busby van. Loved it! But the diff' went and so did the replacement. I was gutted. BSA C15 with huge fibreglass panniers and rack for the fishing tackle. Honda VF750 Honda Deuville 650 MGB (x2) MGB GT Original Beetle (x 3) Triumph 2000 Triumph Stag Citroen XM (x2) 1986 Le Voyageur Citroen C25 camping-car (only sold two years ago) If only I could have found a VW Karmann Ghia I'd still have it today (possibly) ?

I would leave the trap armed all year round if it can be placed somewhere out of the way. I have rat and mouse traps set all year round and I notice that when the weather turns nasty with heavy rain or when it gets really cold I often get catches.

I have just finished reviewing the trail-cam footage from 72 hours on this site. It wasn't made easy due to the really windy and rainy conditions that caused many false camera activations. The back story is that the customer who I have sold a double rat and double mouse trap to a couple of years ago phoned up about the damaged wheelie bin. His rat trap had been continually set off without captures and the bait having been nicked. Inside they had scurrying in various cupboards. On checking the mouse box I found one of the traps had been set off and one long dead dead mulot (wood mouse) ins

When he first arrived all the pundits were saying that he had no finishing ability ?

It would be quite interesting if Scotland get independence and the UK leave the EU. Where does that leave Scotland? The EU won't take them unless they can meet their criteria and even of they can it can take years for ascension to be approved and implemented. In the mean time they won't be getting the money from Parliament, won't be able to trade with the EU unless they allow them to rape their fisheries, will lose around 3,000 jobs at Faslane and their oil industry might not survive the split. Wee Jimmy thinks that she can control immigration, but if Scotland becomes an EU member then it has

That is the tactic. Get someone in to raise their hopes then when he fails they get someone in to raise their hopes and so on............... That way the board keep on milking the cow.

As I see it the Australian system might not work so well for the UK. Australia is a long way from anywhere else and they had a policy of taking any refugee boat people to a transit camp in Papa New Guinea where their applications could be processed. Those who failed had the option of staying in the camp or being returned to their home country. They never set foot on Australian soil. Totally different to the UK experience.

There shouldn't have been any death throes. Click, bang, dead! Some Dutch neighbours had a strange idea that if you catch a rat alive you douse it with petrol, set light to it then let it go. They call it the 'screaming rat' and it is supposed to get rid of all your rats. They tried it and then came round asking for some traps. 16 others hadn't heeded the scorched rodent's cries ?

I think that today is a difficult period for league football. It has become money obsessive. The FIFA are pushing the world Club Championship - more money generated but the local fans won't see much of the matches unless they too have deep pockets. And it will wreck the PL as we know it. There are people buying football clubs just for the money they generate and others are like kids buying a train set. The Cardiff owner is a classic example. First thing he wanted to do was change the 'Bluebirds' strip to his favourite colour - red! That didn't go down too well. The best examples seem to b

If Rafa could do what he did with Newcastle despite the owner asset stripping the club then think what he could do with a club that has an owner who actually wants the club to succeed on the pitch like the Leicester owner does. I think that West Ham's problems might be at board level. Are the owners committed to the football club like the fans are or are they looking at it as a cash cow?

Well done! ? Don't think that it will be the only one. You'll keep on catching while ever the trap is armed. Also a photo would have been good. We could have seen the set-up.

Customer called me out to this. He thinks it is something gnawing its way in. I reckon it was something trapped in the bin gnawing its way out. The droppings are rat sized, but more cream or beige coloured than normal. However, there are foil containers of cat food that haven't been rinsed out properly so that could have tainted the scat.

And he's doing that with gates of 11,000 and no money to spend on players. And the team are playing attractive football.
-
It isn't going onto the treadle. It is able to reach the bait without going onto the plate You need to set up the trap so that the rat has to step down onto the treadle. Make the trap safe and take it up. Put some bait on the floor where the trap will cover it up. Use something soft like peanut butter, chocolate spread or a small piece of bacon laid flat. Replace the trap and take the safety hook off. Don't beat yourself up about it though because you are almost there. The rat is used to going into the trap so that is actually the hard part done.

The next manager doesn't have to be one of the new wave though. Look at Eddie Howe and Brendan Rogers. Thy both promote the attractive attacking football that West Ham have been known for. Even that German who got 'Uddersfield to the Premiership would be worth an interview.

Just look at this: https://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-liverpool/transfers/verein/31 https://www.transfermarkt.com/liverpool-fc/transfers/verein/31/plus/0?saison_id=2018&pos=&detailpos=&w_s= https://www.transfermarkt.com/liverpool-fc/transfers/verein/31/plus/0?saison_id=2017&pos=&detailpos=&w_s= In three years they have spent a net £120 million. Three years! And they are Champions of Europe and probably will be Champions of England. That is how to do it.
