Not so much a U Turn as a full speed, tyre ripping, Grand Theft Auto J Turn. ? There was a lorry overturned and slid down a banking on the M1 that ran through our shoot one night. It was carrying thousands of bottles of whiskey, all boxed up. By the time the recovery crew had it back on its tyres about a third of the load had 'evaporated'. The feckin beaters were swigging the stuff in their coffees all winter. They were wasted after their lunch break.

The Russians have defaulted on their contractual obligation to supply Germany and other countries with gas. They would be expected to make up the shortfall or face legal action through international law courts. They would have to pay £ billions. Now the pipe line is defunct they can't make up the shortfall so avoid legal action. The destruction of the pipe line focuses European attention away from their annexing of the four Ukrainian regions. The Russians are capable of that. There are two cages of protection dolphins already stationed outside on of the harbours where the Russian fleet is. But the amount of explosives needed for the pipe ine sabotage is way too heavy to be carried by Flipper.

I hope they do a better job than Notts Police. They called in one of our cadaver dog handlers to search for the bodies of two (remember that) missing persons who had disappeared together and were believed to have been murdered. The search location was a demolished factory, a huge yard full of brick rubble. John set the dog off to search. Usually the dog is allowed free rein to burn off its enthusiasm for a minute before being directed into a systematic search. 15 seconds into the search Franky indicated a find. John marked the spot then sent the dog elsewhere before allowing him back towards

Look at the size of the feckin rucksack! If you are stealth camping you don't need all that stuff. And what is the point of choosing to sleep in a shit hole? A lot of the bushcraft vids are laughable. They are five yards from their cars or set up in someone's garden. I used to come across them all the time. A hammock or tarp strung up alongside a country road with their car in sight. Pointless! -
