  1. Said on the news that it looked like part of a skull. Not the whole article.
  2. That is the threat. A Russian ship equipped for such a task went off GPS a few months ago in the Atlantic in the area of one of the cables.
  3. While nobody can deny what Biden said, there is absolutely no motive for the Yanks to blow up the pipeline. The Russians are selling their gas elsewhere and the main losers are Germany and neighbouring countries. A statement of intent isn't proof that they did it. Look at what Putin has threatened to do and he hasn't done half of it.
  4. According to an article I read yesterday it is relatively simple to locate the pipeline and lower a device onto it. There were seismic shocks detected that suggests explosives were used. If the pipe corrodes it creates a small leak that can be repaired. Now the pipe will be flooded with sea water making corrosion much more likely. The pipeline may be a write off. Why? To create a shortage of gas in Europe and take the focus away from the annexing of the four areas by Russia.
  5. All this stuff he posts comes from one source. He doesn't have to search for it, it comes to him via Rat Catcher.
  6. Mechanical failure in three or four places on two seperate pipelines simutaneously? ? This is designed to split the EU. Get countries arguing over supplies, like the vaccines.
  7. No. I'll leave that to you. After all, you have whittled the suspects down from one to one.
  8. Well, I don't think the identity of the culprit is in doubt.
  9. I identify as a 26 year old lothario. But Club 18-30 won't me go on their package holiday to Ibiza. Do you think that Labour could do something for people like me?
  10. Oh, they will no doubt sell their oil and gas - somewhere. But what they won't get is Western investment in consumer goods and technology and that is what they need more than anything. The Russian military are a bust flush. Everybody in the world knows that now and Putin knows that they are for the taking should we want to. There are no mountains to hide in like in Afghanistan. Just one big, vast plain that can be conquered, annexed and controlled.
  11. Same in Cyprus. They suddenly arrived in numbers and started buying apartments and villas all over the island.
  12. I thought he was that actor on Hart to Hart who held dinner parties where one of the guests ended up dead?
  13. The thing is that Russians have for the first time experienced the Western world. When prisoners of war were returned to Russia after WW2 Stalin had them all interned in slave labour camps so they could not talk about Western civilianisation and technology. The public did not know of anything outside Russia except that the government wanted them to know. Now most of the population have heard of if not experienced Starbucks, European cars and other things that cannot exist in Russia without the West. The Russians will not be willing to step back into the Cold War world. You can see that wi
  14. JG from Maltby. He had only just been released after doing a stretch for GBH.
  15. Even if there was such a thing as a pro' boxer's record, and even if the boxer had a 100% loss record he'd still be one up on Max as it shows that the boxer at least turned up.
  16. Double uni knot for me. https://www.netknots.com/fishing_knots/double-uni-knot#:~:text=Double Uni Knot Tying Instructions,Pull tag end to tighten.
  17. Look how many barristers are in the government and shadow cabinet. And look how much money is being earned by barristers defending immigration cases. Connection?
  18. Sandymere seems to have a distorted vision of the days of New Liebour. He thinks Sadaam begged us to invade Iraq, that the Countryside Alliance were relieved when the Hunting With Dogs bill was passed and little old ladies cheerfully sold off their children's inheritance to spend their last days in an 8 foot by 10 foot room.
  19. Hmmm! A class war? Starmer is a knighted barrister. Dodds was a lecturer at Kings College. Shabana Mahmood is also a barrister. Rachel Reeves was an economist at the Bank of England and the British Embassy in Washington. David Lammy, another barrister as is Nick Thomas-Symons.................. Just the sort of people you'd meet at the dog track ?
  20. Its not just the EU who will cause the abandonment of this policy. Italy would be ostracised by virtually every nation and the CoHR would issue an order banning the practice within days. Also it would be in breach of maritime law so the UN would probably also get involved. The best thing to come from it is that pressure will mount on the EU to stop immigrants getting to Europe. That is good new for us.
  21. It would be suicide for Italy. They export far too much to EU countries to lose. No, she is playing with fire as voters will remember her broken promises. Remember that they have a new PM every month, or so it seems.
  22. Said this the other day on the next pm thread. It is all right SAYING that you will turn the immigrants back. But DOING it is a different matter. The Human Rights Act for one thing doesn't allow for it. There are marine laws that prevent it and the EU will take action too. She has got in on a false promise. However, this result demonstrates to everybody what the public want. This is Italy's Brexit Party moment in time.
  23. Do you think that chicken could be you and we are the rest of the flock? ?
