    I'm not saying I feed them a lot I feed them twice a day anyway . So when I'm off out digging I'll give them a third of there daily portion . Normally they'll have at least 2 and half hours digestion time . Because we normally go out at 8 I'll feed them at 6 then we have to get where ,where going . Before I leave the house they'll be walked and emtied out . I just see it as I never leave the house for work in the morning without having me porridge a brew and a shit . So that's what the dogs get .

    is that terriers hpr or gundogs? reason i ask is i do the same with gundogs ( a lite meal before work and the main after) but when i had terriers i fed at night ,my reasoning gundogs are on the go all day and need a steady release of energy but terriers work in generally shorter burst ,unless on a long dig Both its just something I've always done . I've dug with lots of other people and none of them do it . You never know how long your dogs going to be to ground or how many dogs there going to have in the day . So if it's done you know there right for any occasion . Jmo .

    That's because they will be feeding them in the kennel putting them in the car then straight in the cart . I get up at 6 feed the dogs . Go in sort my own stuff out . Take dogs for a piss and shit . Go to shoot for 8.20 take dogs for another piss shit . Then we start at nine . It's not my fault your beaters are lazy b*****ds and can't be arsed to take the dogs for a shit . I know on our shoot if the dogs shit in the cart that we've got to travel in and have our munch in . They would be getting told to empty there dogs out and if they didn't listen get f****d off .

    I feed mine twice a day in the morning and tea time . I've always gave mine a feed before work I just get up earlier so it can digest and always make sure they've emptied out . Which they do pretty quick once the routines there they get use to it . The way I look at it I wouldn't want to go to work all day on an empty stomach . It's the same as my gundogs makes me laugh at dinner time on the shoot days every ones filling there face and having a brew and the dogs get f**k all maybe a few scraps when there the ones doing the work . I always give mine a mackerel sarnie etc . This is just my opini

    They will hunt at night too . All birds of prey do when they've got young . If you watch Nottingham university peregrines . Last year she was bringing all sorts back in the night she even brought a woodcock back .

    I would I wouldn't write her off that quick . If you get another pup in who knows its not going to happen again . I'd try another dog on her maybe half the same line half another line . And also get another pup in so your eggs arnt all in one basket .
