Well, I would disagree with the person who's advised you not too. After all, although not full length, the TX and PS seem just fine, fair enough there not 'carbon'. Plus, the amount of tuning going on at the moment, bits like the little 99, shrouds are super and almost the next phase in tuning process after internals. There a matter of taste of course, but if you would like one, get one installed. It won't do anything, but make the rifle look better. But again, that's an opinion. Unless your actually considering chopping the barrel down and having a proper shroud sorted. Whoever advised mayb

Also seen this on my travels on fb by the same chap thats worked his magic on that TX awhile back. Mini 99. Sounds like its had the full works too... Looks the mutts nuts I think. A proper field weapon. "Carbine, shrouded, threaded, Cerakote action, Mag pul green soft touch stock with front chequering removed. Bisley pad and securely fitted QD studs. Fully glided & lightened piston with Delrin guide & top hat & a straight Rowan trigger to complete." Images not mine.

Haha! I actually had her out plinking this afternoon Si.Yes this afternoon we have had white horses. North westerly and yet while I was out, one minute it's blowing in my face then blowing up my arse and the trees were all over the place hence why I opted for the bunnies. The 43 yarder had 1 mildot to the left as it was blowing side on!! there the shots that put a smile on ya face yeah I've had a great day building gables... can't wait for tomorrow them little vantage scopes are ace for the money, left one on a trade i did to bump the price, wish id kept it.. nice clear and no nonsense!
