    I don't know how 'truely' accurate they are mind. With a tape measure, my garden is 36 yards, 38-39 sitting at the kitchen table, or 40 from from the back of the kitchen wall. I find it doesn't know the yard here or there but to be honest, that's accurate enough

    Young ones were for the ferrets except for one I used as corvid bait yesterday but that was a fail. The best of the bigger ones get salted overnight, then the meat is taken off the bone and diced up and then it is being marinated in a curry sauce ready for a curry on Tuesday night. You just leave them in salt water then? 24 hours like...

    I know your asking mac, but I would look at the H&N range. I use FTT's in my twenty two, which are faultless to be honest and Barra Hunters in my 98. They are heavy mind, 10.6grn, and to be honest, I feel like I need to be on top form to get them to stack, however when they do, they properly do. Can beat good old H&N FFT's though. Do choose the head size well though, as the 4.52 are ultra tight fitting... Like finger bustin' tight. Re the rifle, get it apart, clean it up, see what happens then. All will come good

    Funnily enough. My Mrs filmed a young starling chick being fed by its parents just on Friday while I was work. Nice fat coincident little chick, taking worms and such from mam and dad. Just didn't have the wings yet to get in the air. I get home, she's buzzin about this little starling... only for us to go in the kitchen and hear her shout "what's that magpie got?!"
