    Late to this but anything sub 12 with a Hugget Magna on. Tested one at a RFD, just to be inquisitive and I kid you not, it was literally a joke. The quietest thing I’ve tried to hear. Only on a shitty Gamo but yeah, ultra ultra quiet. Made specifically for the wolverine .303 so sub 12 it was overkill. Massive too as mods go.

    Firstly. Bangin choice of HW’s ? Got mine glided and short stroked a few years ago and to be honest, it’s the last of the group I’d let go. It’s a joke how she spits trophies so well. I did try fields .52 for a few years but the difference in the grouping with trophies can’t be ignored. Yours could be different for sure, but any of the kits or a mr brown seeing too would be properly recommended.

    WTF! I would chew my trigger finger off for that luck. Now. Interestingly this isn’t the first time I’ve seen a UNF’d 98... last year some one posted a similar kinda find on the weihrauch owners Facebook group. He contacted HW and having bought the gun second hand, they said they weren’t doing them as standard and so assumed it was done in someone’s shed. But that’s even more twisted cos I assume the rifle is brand new? The end doesn’t contain baffles does it? It’s literally the barrel chopped, cropped and finished. No idea what the story is but I’d f’kin love one.

    Eyup marko. Yeah, actually a recent purchase. Nipped over to a “shut” rfd over lockdown. Saw it on there instagram, and enquired about how much it is and all that to hear back it wasn’t actually shop stock, it was the dealers own rifle, but he’d do a deal on it. So went and picked it up the other week. I only got as I thought we’d be stuck indoors for a bit longer and was getting bored of the springers like. Shooting um everyday for an hour or two made hitting me spinners easy, so thought I’ll get another rammer. She’s as snappy as foook and being honest, I can’t hit a barn door yet.

    Yeah man. Been thrashing the 100 most the time to get the job done for sure like on the pests. To be honest, kinda got bored of the springer lot over lockdown... shooting um every day in the garden like. Gone through 3 tins of trophies [BANNED TEXT] me 97. But yeah, was a good outing. Just sat against a tree with it. No idea why I took me scout.

    I’ve not posted much in the hunting section for obvs reasons. But sneaky got out now and then towards the end. Went tonight and scored a new field. Seems during the last 9 weeks the bugs have eaten there way through 12 grand of veggies. So I’ve been asked to thin um out a bit. Just some snaps of from my last few outings.

    What cal is it? Twenty two I would assume. Think of the pellets flight path mate... pellet leaves the barrel, up and through the first zero and then drops onto your 45 yard zero. If you zeroed it at a normal persons range ? say 30, your first zero would be around 12-15 yards. Interestingly, your first zero would be well before 20 yards for your pellet to strike 6 inch above at 20, for it to land at 45 bang on. Which kinda means the rifles literally lobbing it. Set targets up at 10, 15, 20, 25 etc all the way to 45 and see what your pellets doing. Why 45 might I ask?

    Not meaning to upset the Apple cart, but I did have a Falcon 4-18 FFP on my first gen 98. I thought it was mint myself. Got rid though. It was f’kin massive, turrets so big I used um on me mrs most weekends. But the ret was super, if a little complex for air guns, but quality wise, one of the best products I’ve bought. As mr brown sez, at 4 x the cross hair was ultra thin mind. Used it in a HFT comp to be fair too... sneaky tweek of the ring for range finding worked well too ? It was just it’s sheer size that eventually put me off. Basically your mounting a HW30 on top of your rifle ?
