    More questions than answers there man but it would help us help you Get a 95 in 177 mate, whack a Hawke on top and your set for pretty much everything. I use my 98 for HFT so it'll do as much as I ask of it, apart from hide shooting perhaps due to its size. If you shoot a springer first your learn the techniques of shooting, making PCP work a doddle.

    Little one to be honest, I think it's just the weather turning them off getting out and about. Let's be honest, nothing beats the warm summer evenings, and the rabbits think the same. I just wonder what the f*ck they do stuck in doors all day every day. The ones I have seen don't stick around to long. Like soon as they see any movement, they're gone. Turning my attention to roost shooting the feathered ones. Real nice. Hood up, gloves on, base of a tree, waiting.

    Yeah sound mate. Been all good. Thought I might of seen you at the Daystate HFT Midlands Series held over at Waddington the other weekend. Glad I didn't though, or Id of been a place down on my score Most defiantly should meet up man, it would be great, few knock downs and that. Still need you to give my springers the once over. Hi by the way, it's been a while they are flammin super to be honest, I just don't want to miss out on something better, need to get through the tin first with my 100. Use them in my 98 too and jesus it's devastating. Image attached is from my 98 @ 32 yards five shot groups.

    Get a 25 mate for rattin. I can guarantee you you'll kill more first shot with it than you will with a 177. If you get a springer, you'll miss more or wound more than you would with a pcp. The puffs above clearly are referencing there own 'abilities' than actually answering your question. That's half the problem with this forum. It's about how good we all are at shooting... When really you've asked as what's best for shooting rats. 25. Or a larger calibre than 177. PCP. No recoil. Hit what your aiming at if your new to springers, you won't. Granted it may be a bit more cost wise but the deals

    I never thought I would ever hear that V'man. My god. Deep deep rifle man. You do know what your on about as much as I hate to say it Been out today with it. Just brings a smile. In 177 I don't seem to miss, happy to say its down the springer shooting tuition @ HFT that's done it, but it is accurate. Real nice sound on output aswell, with my SAK mod up front. Smooth operating and very nice in the shoulder. It's my new thing. I will say I would out shoot it with my 98 but that's in strip down for a smoothing over. Thee best PCP I've owned and shot. Nuff said.

    Yourself mate? You'll learn more from it. Honestly, do it yourself... Other than that I think you can send it to impact air guns... For a price. The sirocco is proper old school and it might be worth you sourcing your own man for the job. The Theoben owners on gaybook will defiantly point you in the right direction.

    If he's just starting out with air rifles, it'll take him a month to get his groups down to an inch with a springer, we all know that. Get a PCP mate and you'll be dropping um from the go especially if your sued to your rat catcher.
