    .25 mate. Hits like a sledgehammer. PCP or spring is to your own desecration. PCP would be sound like, mod up front and all and no recoil. You'll need a carbine or a shorty for quick manoeuvring about. Magazine ideally for the quick shots needed after dropping one. Low power scope but big front end objective for the light. Thats your spec list.

    Take him up on it my man... You will not regret it. To be honest, you might not appreciate how good the 100 is until you have tried some of the less sharp models if you know what I mean.

    Hi man. Nice budget. I'd be looking at second hand Air arms mate, S410. You may even get a superlite for that if you keep your wits about you, top end of your budget though. Even get a brand new Ultra

    What recommendations do others with the HW mod have for a silencer covers? A few use proper ones, but a few lads at the club use like a neoprene sleeve or rubber hosing. What's the dimensions of the mod... I think it's about 30mm width.

    Your looking at about 4-6 weeks and about £220 I think the last time I enquired. Do it yourself man... honest, you'll learn a lot more and know its been done to the standard you want. Not saying it wont be like that with SFS but they do bang a lot out out nowadays. Think it might have run its course to be honest.

    Shep. Forgot to say. Waddington know of you and your name mate. The lady even got out the letter you wrote to the club. I'm taking those items down on Wednesday as promised. Everyone was very thankful of your donations. For everyone that doesn't know, this chap donates to a club he can't get too and when we met this past weekend for the sale of my SE, he gave me a BSA meteor and gamo pistol [Webley Nemesis ] along with a crony to pass on to my club. The sport wouldn't be the same without people like this.

    I was gonna chit chat about the pellets. I have a tin of H&N FTT to go through at the minute and to be honest, they seem to perform well, so well in fact that I'd love to check out the recommendations villa. Ill get through them and consider a change. I do use FTT's in my 98 and it is just as accurate, so I thought the German barrel and that might like the same. Can't hurt for a change, but if it ain't broke... I'll still see about it. You lot weren't wrong about the actual rifle itself and so I'm very happy to look at new food for it.     So. I've bit the bullet and got a 100KT in 177. Firstly. It's surgical. Second. I can see why everyone's got one. Third. V'man. We've had some banter over these damn models... But I do know when I'm a bit naive and take all I've said back. I perhaps think it's a bit of a shame that other models haven't got that something the 100 has... I'm unsure how to put my finger on what that actual thing is. It's only a baby, shots in but it is pellet touching pellet @ 30 yards, and I can honestly see the potential. It'll only be a field rifle, using it for HFT would be a bit boring maybe. B

    Highly, very highly recommended. Get it tuned and cleaned up internally and you won't regret it. If you can't arsed, get a AA. The weight may be a shock and put you off at first but give it time and it'll improve your shooting no end.
