Still propohhh all over this... Some soddin' chap on YT did a bad review mind, which has thrown me a bit but I know all rifles are good and bad to users. Something about the muzzle finishing and it having to go back. Back to the OP, like you, Im in two minds whether to go the pup way in the next rifle... Though I am havin an issue finding a problem with standard sporter rifle, having used um since day one. This HW Carbine though, fixes all those concerns. It's a sporter, but super compact. Ill so be on the HW stand at the show to throw one around.

That’s three posts now with dropped bugs. Seems the sods are showing up a bit earlier in the day time this year... warm weather and such. Had a couple me sen last weekend, and no way would I have done this time last year.

What’s everyones thoughts on this pup then? Getting me sen a new game basher soon, and for some reason I can’t stop thinking about it. The only thing that I’m not quite feeling is the trigger guard shape and the weight, having held one. 9lbs unscoped... for a pup!? ? The list is, at the minute BSA Defiant, 110 carbine, Wildcat, Ultra Cayenne and the AGT Vulcan. Preferring a sporter to be honest... Any other suggestions welcome? Im going for something super small as I’ve just got a new proper roost perm, in proper dense woodland and pigeon breast is THE number one underrate

.53 FTT’s mate. Absolute mint aren’t they... used them since day 2 in me 97. Just can’t fault the pellet. Every HW I’ve had just throws them so true.

Weirdly Lock, I had some too. Used um for a while in me 98. Bang on. Then suddenly they went all low. Now back on the old trusty AA Fields .52 So yeah, kinda, I have had the same.

That’s the catch Steve... you still have them as they’re a bit old school and a bit wank to be honest mate those marksmans. No offense to you of course, but they are, just being honest. Best bet to get rid, would be pass um onto a club being honest. Top notch HL offer though. Members like you make this forum what it is.

Single shot ultra or similair mate. In all honesty, it’s only the mag that takes um up to the 600-700 mark. Properly decent single shot PCP’s are well under the 500 mark.
