  1. Im gonna buy an IMP... are there any IMPS's?!?!?!?!? Drunke.n
  2. The young uns out now where you are?
  3. What's the gas ram shooting cycle like compared to a snappy v-Mach system? As of today I mean. I'm toying with getting myself an RM100 from Impact. Understandably, it'll take some time to bed in as per, but don't want to make the wrong decision. I've shot gas ram Theobens in the past, and didn't seem to get on with them, years ago this was... I'm a better shot now and like to think I can adapt to the process. I've got a lightening with a Theoben strut installed and it's ok, but after a days shooting I do feel tender at the shoulder area, as it's quite a sharp stun. I can shoot my spr
  4. Ha. Thats just before I thru him out the bloody window. Throo, thru, thrown... whatever the grammar is.
  5. Have you ever tickled a fish? Or anything fishy? I recon you like stroking pork loins
  6. 40 meters with a 177?! Sorry but is that what's being said here? Zero at 40 metres? Having just had a quick look at chair gun, using my PS @ 11.2, if I zero at 40 yards, the pellet does not leave the area of the first mil dot down and first mil dot up through its path all the way too 53 yards and it enters it at 12 yards. So, bearing in mind my magnification of 7 x... It could be quite interesting.
  7. Firstly. There's less whack needed to get the heavier pellet on its way mate. A .177 calibre springer set up would tend to stun the pellet due to its size, where as a .22 is in a way, "pushed". It's hard to explain, but there is generally harsher recoil from 177 springers than 22's. Hence making them sweeter. It is true. Second. Dr B. your a fecking nureoscienetsistiits?! And you dabble in airguns? Ha. A first. Any other members deal with brains? That doesn't included sticking a pellet in um mac
  8. Dr B. tell me about yourself man? Your quite peculiar if I may say. Your style of writing and so on is somewhat... "Librarian". What do you do for a living? Slightly off post, but your a very active member and type a lot, so I thought I'd ask
  9. @ ratbuster... You have one old school rifle there with your countryman... They were the 99's of there day.
  10. You meant a RM8 not a R8. Ignore the above.
  11. From what I've heard mate there bang on, I chap at me club has one and it seems as sweet as a nut. One of the member has one and has done a YouTube review of it too... My only concern, and it's my own, is that it's built on the walther dominator platform... Good... Bad? I don't know. Barrel has what looks like a mod, but it isn't, so when you do put a mod on, it's quite long.
  12. Im going with the mrs old man... He's getting quite into the sport and wants a Daystate no less... It'll be fine I say... It'll be fine. Get one. Anyway. It should be OK.

Not to make it look that good. Trust me
  15. Get a 7. The faff is true, it's shit, but what you lose on loading times you make up for in legacy I'm of my rocker mate, been up for two days now And the spell check on iPad is the only normally thing between me and the mrs.
  16. This is a point I've thought about... Yes. Agreed man. It's heavyweight, but is it heavy?! My own springers are best left heavy, my PS is perhaps 10 pounds with optics, the 97 10.5 ish with the 1.5 kilo menace included. This is not a dig, at all, the heavy glass makes um sweeter
  17. I'm sure an would be as accurate as any springer nowadays. Mr pianoman will come across this post at some point and type a small essay about them (as he always does) even if the post wasn't about 80's. His is on a ticket, but from what I hear, is the best thing since sliced bread none the less. They are great and one day I might think, I want one. The older rifles have somewhat 'immortal charm' about them, hence me spending nearly a grand on a rifle that's 22 years old, my 7. I've always wanted a 7, since the day I got into shooting, but the old man could never afford to buy me o
  18. I've got a few arses round here hanging in my trophy cabinet...... Is this the only forum that needs vasaline? You mean photos?!
  19. A true dad would just give him his 100KS.......... Wouldn't they
  20. Anyone going to the shooting show @ Kenilworth in Warwickshire this weekend?! Pm me your digits you homos and we'll accidentally bump into each other www.shootingshow.co.uk
  21. are they are abit dodgy rez? Iv just lent a mate an old junior springer for his young lad and I told him to get some as they one of the lightest .22 pellets as far as I know. Perhaps. More encouragement mate if there good in his 100... Then bang on granted, more plinkers like, but who knows...
  22. Roost shoot the buggers mate. Get a nice spot near a sitty tree, and just wait, from 4pm onwards this time of year. Proper SAS shit going on, stealth, no need for face paint like, but if you find the right spot, your in. I have a perm with a bangin tree, brambles and undergrowth etc and now I know my ranges (by plinking at notches in the tree bark while I wait) nothing really gets away.
