  1. Flynndog... Clear out your damn inbox mate for god sake, it's the second time I've tried pm and no joy. X
  2. Notice how the more difficult prey is in my image Jokes.
  3. Sweet. Thanks chaps. Moxy, no the adaptor wasn't an exact fit to be honest. Ill go back to my AA fields with it.
  4. Mentioned this in another post... But. My mk1 was bang on. But I thought it could be quieter, the mod is old Skool Theoben, typical Evo mod. It was quite loud compared to my SAK or HW mods. So with the barrel being generally beefy, I got myself a 1/2 inch UNF adaptor which fits well. So went on the HW mod. Somehow, the rifle has lost its superb accuracy compared to it standard mod. So I stuck on my SAK. Again, no where near the standard mod. One thing I have changed is its diet. AA fields was what I started with, but out of choice moved onto Accupells. Dire. To be honest. I'll go back.
  5. Spend cheap and buy twice. Start with a HW my man, and it'll last you for life. Keep in the springers if I was to give one key piece of advice. Best of luck.
  6. Yep. Here's my mk1... Being a bit of a pain at the minute with a UNF adaptor and a HW mod... Perhaps maybe the pellets, but it's sound even if it doesn't work
  7. I'd slightly disagree with the above. Mr dave ratz on the tube uses his to great effect, seems a sound rifle IMO. I guess you just have to know how to use it
  8. have you ever been ratting I was being sarcastic.
  9. Ashhhbeehhhhh Im from Loughborough, originally. Went to a few raves at Ciros back in the day. Messseehhhhh.
  10. Why do you need 12 shots with a rapid..?!
  11. Awesome. You've got to rifles that'll do the same thing as each other Without offence ment, what made you buy one and then the other? Both will group no better than the other in the field. Just out of interest of course Much love x
  12. Nice point. Imagine, and I don't mean you treekeeper, springer for pests... Imagine being that good at shooting. Again, not you. A true art. The art of the 97. It's all there, who's good enough?! The Carl Fampton fight was a joke, so I'm drinking brandy with the mrs. Again, spelling is taken care of. Auto.
  13. So one thing has to be worth more than 2k to be insured on your home insurance?!
  14. You may kill the most game, but are you the better shooter?
  15. The mrs says to me this evening about getting my rifles insured on her home insurance... whats the deal with this if anyone knows? Is it specialist even though there not technically a firearm? I have about £2500 worth of equipment and such and would be rather annoyed if it was to go missing one day while Im out. Do we just add it onto the laptops, iPad and so on? Any help, advice or thoughts would be much appreciated.
  16. I dont think we do, but you have a point. I like the nudge and the personality of a well tuned springer. If it was lifeless like a pcp, [within reason, some pcp's are great as we all know], then it wouldn't be worth shooting it. Shooting a spring powered air rifle some how makes you feel more connected to your actual shooting and your rifle... you feel that your actually the accurate one of the partnership, and not the rifle. Even though I we're not. Dont get me wrong, I like PCP shooting, but dont feel like Im doing anything. PCP's have a job... to kill as much as possible. Its why, as hu
  17. The original post here makes me sick on my mobile at the moment so not read many of the replies... A 97 would strip an air wolf for accuracy any day of the week. Mine would. I would. Thee best air rifle out there. PCP or springer. Those who shoot pcp's are mislead into thinking there a good shot. There not. Those who think there a good shot with a pcp are clearly deluded. I garantuee a good spring rifle shooter could shoot your own pcp better than you

  19. That 510 is mint. What's the paperwork around the bell aim points?
  20. Some detailed images of it would help... Ripleys are quite unique and generally stand out from the crowd on the second hand shelf of any gunship. Shame about the serial. I shall keep my eye out. Even though I'm in Lincolnshire, if I'd of tea leafed it I would drive to sell it on, so it could be miles away.
  21. Yes. I do this, but dont like the thought of drying firing all the time with the hammer... Id prefer to buy a load of O rings that a new hammer set up especially for a rapid thats so old.
  22. A HW. Without a doubt. An old 35 mate. Buggy will no doubt be a better replier... If that's a word.
  23. How many shots your getting out of your rapids with the 400 tank? (owners of rapid of course) Also, do you pop it or dry fire until empty?
