    I personally thing it's a good price. It's always nice to get a rifle for less than what it's being sold for but having had a 98, there worth that much. As good as any HW accuracy wise. Nuff said.

At the end of the day, if you don't have the coincidence to take game with a spring powered air gun, then you have to consider your own shooting capabilities. It's that simple. Confidence being the key word. Taking 5-6 rabbits with a pcp isn't an achievement. If it's for work, then so be it. As in pest control so to speak.     This is a lie it won't be taken off you but you may loose it for a few days. Take it back to the shop and tell them what you've told us. With your original post, it's like you have no idea about it. It's a clear answer, it's over powered, without a ticket you are in trouble, and there is a high likely hood of being bent over by the old bill. Take it back.

    Firstly. I tend to shoot heavy springers. My 97 is nearly 10lbs and my pro sport is just over, both have heavy duty scopes on board. I'd say I was quite an accurate shooter with them within reason, my 97 is used mainly on game, but my PS is a HFT choice. My Webley is superb, very smooth and point able, but find I can't close my groups up as tight as with the others. The pellets are flying true so it isn't them, they are a perfect fit in the breech, and it just get that feeling it really does like fields @ 5.52, as with all my .22's. The stock fits like a glove with the thumb up position. T

    Pionaman. Try to sample one mate. Im not sure it might be of your liking for some reason, but you will get bored of its accuracy. It is almost PCP like. Honest. Try it I hear on the grapevine that there prone to problems later on down the line. But again, only problems get voiced, as with an brand, make or model. Nice one.

    My first ever air rifle was a B2. Absolute rubbish, but it started a passion that's been annoying to the wallet ever since. Dropped enough starlings with it though back in the day.

    I'd second that. The competition ultra is thee best springer out of the box without a doubt... You'll get your AA fans pipe up no doubt, but honestly, after spending time with one, a mates, it is superb. Whatever is going on inside, which without being techie is new, it most certainly works. It's heavy, very heavy, topping the scales at 10ish pounds, but it doesn't matter when you get hit the target bang on where you intended. I want one but fear I wouldn't shoot any other springer they are that good. Long term I don't know, but, and this is the truth, I go to bed thinking about one. A .22 o

    Fixed mag for those who like a fixed mag otherwise there isn't any difference. I shoot at 5 and 6x but have variable mag optics.
