    Are them 10.34's any good in your 100? Using them in the Fenman, but dont want to fire one through the 100 and have to coat the barrel again with Fields. Im guessing you took your 100... you may not have done.

    When I was a kid, and with no idea about laws, I had the girlfriend at the times old man put a 177 Theoben GS into my 22 Lightning XL, I actually ordered the wrong one in hind sight. I had no idea how much power it was outputting I didn't care back then, I just used it for rabbits and enjoyed shooting overall... I still have it in fact, but its in bits in the loft. However, when I got round to crono'in it, it was doing 15.2... hence... its now in bits. You wouldn't believe that a simple 177 strut could bang out a 22 that hard, I know why it does, its just the shock of it when Id grown up.

    I dont really know to be honest, Ive shot KT, FSB and standard length ones, and really, the 100 KT is so quiet with HW mod up front... it makes no real difference to the game your shooting at, they'll be dead within about a 1/4 of a second. Best wishes.

    Ahh. I was looking for an imp to see what all the fuss was about but thought the price tag was a bit to high, unless second hand... for what is basically a standard 99 with a large flake. The ones I've shot are nice mind, but nothing special. Like a cute v-mach job done well. You don't see many come up second hand though, which perhaps says something about them. I ended up getting a Fenman instead. 95 is a banging choice.

    I think it'll be fine for your purpose of shooting ferals and rats... Just don't expect dropping head shots in @ 25 yards.

    Air arms S410, with optics if your gonna stretch the funds. Nuff said. You'll hear "get a second hand 100", but you want to buy new I'm sure and it will be all the PCP you'll need. Real smart. 177 if your gonna bash some drop downs, either if your at the pests. S410. Honest

    I think all Hawke scopes are nitrogen purged, could be a dodgy lens... Send it back to the shop Best of luck with it. Great glass choice for the rifle might I add.

    Managed to get myself a Fenman. Got a textie from a chap who I sold my 98 too months back about it this morning on the theoben owners group on gay book. Saw one yesterday which was a shed and thought he meant that one, but this one I'd not seen. So nice one Oz. Went over and picked it up this evening from a sound lad in Leeds. 250 quid! Yes. 250. Came with a AGS 4-16x50 AO IR, leather gun slip and JSB Exacts heavies. It is superb too, real sweet. 177 @ 10.2 on the crono. Proper mk1 with the Hyundai wood, or however you spell it. If it's half as accurate as it looks and feels, it should be

    Your back on the 22 aren't ya Mac... After all that time flickin ya bean over the 177... your back. Good shooting, not at the start healthy looking fur un's too.

    Risky post but I would tend to agree. Rats can be shot with a 177 very well as shown by the choob stars, very very well in fact. But I would personally use a larger calibre for the short range toughies. Unless your set up is topping the scales power wise, I don't think there is any need for the .25, within reason. It does hit bloody hard mind. Against feathers I'm not sure it's as good out to 30+ yards.
