    I have no idea what the general rule of thought is after 5 pages of swing our cocks around. But, my 2 pence is that I do think that the 'off the shelf PS' tends to be lower on FPE, and the reason is it makes the rifle a sweeter shooting experience, and its something AA deliberately do to the rifle set up. Obviously some do come out the factory banging on the door of 11.5-6 but they are actually set around 10-10.5 as standard. My own PS was set around 9.7 but it was most defiantly the best shot cycle for a standard rifle. Not that makes any difference what so ever, 10 is well enough t

    Do it. Had a B2 as my first air rifle. Starling basher at best. Recoils erratically and smells of grease, awful wood, wank blacking, but Id love to have that old rifle back 30 quid and posted it was back then.

    With respect mac, of course, why is it a better rifle? That's very much an opinion. Not that I know, not had a TX, my PS was mint but I hear the TX's are superb. The TX's I've personally shot, are, I would say are a 'better round about rifle' than the PS. I've found PS take some getting used too, but thats an opinion too

    Up the fields earlier, got up from being down prone with my kit bag. Rabbit jumps out from a grassy area. It's seen me. I've seen it. It's like 60-70 yards away. I'm stood up. Just stand there for about 5 mins, it's doesn't move and I don't, we just look at each other. So I figure, get low, slowerly... Rabbits still there, banging it's paws on the ground in front of itself. My question is, in a similar situation, do you move forward on foot, as it's seen you already, or do you get down low and move forward and put the 'effort' in to get the rifle on this rabbit.     I suppose it the first fully floating barrel I know of that actually moves on being 'tapped'. Imagine taking that out in the field and it gets a knock, Ill beat me in the head confidence wise that its lost zero. Ive been told its the best thing since sliced bread by a chap at the club.     You have a decent rifle there... What makes you consider the compatto? Out of interest. From what I've seen on the tube, they're getting a lot of positive comments. Not held one myself yet.
