  1. 90 quid is a bang on price for the tripod. Might look into that. Nice one mr brown.
  2. Sound, I'll check back in then. You got for the tri or double legs? The weight thing. I did think they'd be uber light like. My HM is a carry to say the least, and the rapid is not ultra light, no pun intended. No need to even say oat about the 97. No slings on the PCP's either. I think I mean more the 'awkwardness' when carrying the rifle, kit and then the sticks. However, for ambushes and such in trees, yeah, all over them, but for 130 beans, I'm a bit I could make my I own. I will get some though, eventually.
  3. Yeah I would second that by snap, they are expensive, but I see why they are used. Don't know if I could be arsed to carry them around though. No images si?
  4. Fifffffffffffteen foot pound one seven seven... Jesus. Quarry would be... "What's that thing that just pulled my gray stuff out?! Oh. Shit. I've just been shot!" I poke out flatties with that much speed. Proper 'thock'.
  5. Cheers mark. Been sat here all night with my willy out over them... For the third month in a row. Suppose Ive just got that bug biting again for something old but new. Never got on with gas rams, so I have no idea why. Again, that age old, I wish I had one as a nipper.
  6. Any member owned a sirocco? Thinking I might get one. Had a Fenman, any difference other than aesthetics? Nice one.
  7. Ha. I looked at your post and I just read it over and couldn't make sense of it. Will you ever think of a new boing'er then? I don't think you will, but one day something will pop up in your regular RFD and you'll buy it. Wonder what it might be...
  8. Admin, please add like button to your posts.... He`s jealous lads ! atb Jealous of not having a like button or having one?
  9. First time I've heard that old saying... But good points mark. How many calibers and springers do you like having? x
  10. Im sure shooters would rest the back side of the hand on the sticks and the rifle in that... Any time Ive shot my own HW of anything other than my leading head, its wank.
  11. Gangster Propa popp'd a cap in his ass.
  12. Whatever And what does that f%%king mean then ? Just pullin ya leg... didn't think you'd bite that hard
  13. Wish we could upload more than 500kb... I know, I should get a image account elsewhere.
  14. Managed to get away from my desk at about 4 this afternoon. Headed over to the Manor house perm Ive had for a while. Ive noticed quite a bit of rabbit activity later on in the evenings on previous visits. I did plan to go to another permission on the way back home which is on route, so didn't stay long. Managed the two, but god sake was the first rabbit a mission. Bloody deserved the sodding thing the amount of stalking I had to do. Took him standing from about 25'ish yards when he was out in the sun near a big scrub area, a right pock sound from the pellet behind the eye. Before long
  15. Everyday now I have this garden. 97 will go through a tin of 500 every 6-7 days. I like to shoot the PCP's but, air and boredom becomes, well, boring after 5-10 shots and it's just as it was the day before. And I don't feel I've progressed by using them. Rapids getting some use, just so I know the power curve a bit more, but that's alright now. However, I may be px'ing it for a 22 mk2 at the weekend...
  16. Open sights seems to be having a revival...... Underdog. He came, he changed...
  17. To be fair mark, I've thought about getting some from your exploits, I really have, but, most of my sitty positions, I've set up a branch or some kind of support. But I have to say, just open walking and an opportunity presents itself, I could do would some. Do you rest the back of your hand on the stick then? Think I've asked you this before. If I am out stalking or just having a wander, I try to get down in the prone position, but the sticks would change the whole dynamic of that... For the good perhaps.
  18. Alright man. Yeah it's ok, had it ages, as rifles come and go, it's kinda stay the stablemate of my group as it never lets me down and let's me know when I'm on the mark, and indeed, when I'm not. All the best Pete.
  19. Yes i thought i would do some Rez photos turned out well i think atvbmac  And so do I my friend.
  20. Nice spot that looks, good to see your perspective too.
  21. Well, "Off hand shooting" is the new thing it would seem. Im doing a bit more of it, but to be fair, its one of the hardest positions, I find anyway. Ill give it ago
