New Air Rifles Regulated "out Of The Box"
Rez replied to davedavedave's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Any RAW models. Lots of options now To be fair, a lot of the modern PCP's are so well engineered, a regulator doesn't really add that much. The AA sportier for example, it's so flat throughout its string, you'd think it was reg'd. -
Mint looking rifle man, like the lack of 'massive optic', bit different in todays day and age.

Get a PS mate, you'll love it If you have a TX and a 97, you'll complete the set as the shooting experience is different but the same as the TX. I found my own PS more hold sensitive than the TX's I've shot, without a doubt, perhaps due to the front end not being as heavy.
-
Not sure how edit a previous post on my phone but I see you ask about mounts. I used to believe that one piece mounts are a must on a recoiling set up, but use low single 2 piece on my 97, no issues what so ever.

Epic rifle. As mr bravo has mentioned, although I hear it doesn't happen to every one, the lever, I don't think is as rugged and 'dependable' as a cocking lever underneath the barrel like on the TX/97. I also found grit or fine bits from field work find there way into the mechs, that requires a strip down clean but it is a superb air rifle. It's looks the bomb and performs it too.

First one in real life I've seen. Looks nice. Keep us informed about it -
Nice man. When do you plan on using them? Soon as they arrive I would assume

Thought you had the tripod... Was it just the single unit then?

Personally I think the standard HW mod is the best for those 80's mate. With a screw cut thread you do have a wide selection of choice though. Not sure if any has tried a 300 quid specialist moderator on one or any rifle the same price as the part. The thing with springers, and you'll know this, is it will never really be silent with all the mechs going on inside, even if you do find a ultra quiet front end. Mint choice of rifle though. Nice one.

Just Got A Sporter Stock For My 97 Is Like A New Gun.
Rez replied to dayglowfrog's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Yeah man, Ive always said/thought that the KT stock encourages the shooting to grip the rifle somewhat to tightly. However, some 'shooters with channels' can thread a needle with the KT stocks. I suppose it just want becomes normal for each shooter. I hold my own 97 in quite a firm hold now. So not as lightly as perhaps yourself. -
That's an ambi mk1 with a peculiar blade by the looks of it viz. Maybe various mk2 parts. Looks a good un to be fair.
-
Mk1 or 2? Your located where? Other than west of the middle.
-
Basically brand spank that is... I'll be surprised if it last long in your hands. Mint images.

Just Got A Sporter Stock For My 97 Is Like A New Gun.
Rez replied to dayglowfrog's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Good call. I had a 97 KT synth, still have the action, far from standard mind, but got a sported stock off the revived ruthless Skot... Never looked back. I do think how I might of got on keeping the plaggy stock though now I've had the rifle so long. However, I'm about to get a CS800 stock for it. I find my shooting is on another level with a almost 90 degree target style pistol grip with a thumb up position. So in a way, I'm going back to the thumb hole wood, but won't use the thumb hole. Ideally I'd like a GnB, but finding a mint lefty is like impossible. -
Maybe I'm back in now reading the last para of coypu's post. F'sake.

Think I'm out then. But don't know why. "Jess... I'm out" job done.
-
Rapids still in working order... Unless it's the dogs work and you've dropped in the rifle for the pick... Later I think

Top one looks like you swung it at its noggin.

So. The other half has just asked me whether I'm in or out... Yep, before you say it, the jokes there for all to see. But in all honesty, I have no idea what it means, all this politics bollocks. They talk in such a complicated language, it's hard for the common male or female, to understand, well it is for me anyway. There is so much "small print" about if that happens, this happens, if this happens, that's happens. On both sides. So I said to her, I'll ask you lot. I'm most defiantly in... anyway. What's the beef... And. Are, indeed, we in or out? And to keep it on topic (a
