I'll second that mate, think it's an English Welsh thing, i used to knock about with some Mansfield (and banned forest) lads a while ago, Shrewsbury was a hell of a place to go to away.. why i went back a second time god knows... fecking mad... seen some big lads with big reputations bottle it...!... a nasty fecking place.. Hulls old ground on a tuesday night mid winter 8 year ago wasn't much better... thats another story.. good to look back though....

o.k mate.. looks a decent cross on paper.. but the down side is you could well end up with a dog that has the gameness of a saluki.. and the stamnia of a bull type! not a good mix at all! go for somthing line bred mate, a long proven line of workers, of type you want... doing the work you want, its not worth the gamble...

Cheers for the replies folks.. looks like i've shot it then, shame really, was always a good turn out.. top top days.. Just left Mines Bridge one year on the way home and i bumped into my old companys M.D and his wife out walking, not bad really seeing as the company is 140 odd miles away! turned out he had got a nice little holiday home up there... not bad for some eh!

Just a quick one folks, does anyone on here know where the Ullswater and or the Coniston meet this wekend? Fancying a change from the Blencathera, them Caldbeck fells are a tad on the barren side... i'll dust my mountain boots off.. couple of pics from easter meet '04 a few others from another meet in '08 the living ledgend himself... and one of me on the same day... Skiddaw in the background... wich was the previous days jaunt! just for a laugh, Skiddaw trig point!
