Thanks mate, I really appreciate that. The pics I take only go to a few mates and then on here so it's good to know the effort is worth while. If you fancy getting out you really should do it whilst you can. Maybe look into getting some gear together here and there over the winter, spread it out to take the sting out of it and you could be ready to go next spring. Definitely a great thing for mental health.. gives you a nice little reset I think and we all spend way too many hours, days and nights sat in our houses watching crap on the magic box that we will have forgotten all about by tomorro -
Haha!!.. Eat the f***ing thing for gods sake.. lol..

Absolutely no problems. Can I suggest you call said pups one and two?? So.. if one dies, you've got two left!! I'll get my coat! Good night god bless!!]

My mate is putting these together and taking bookings.. Shorter in the back to aid with aerodynamics and they require less feeding and therefore less shit picking upping!! Saluki is off Stephen Hawkins lines and is well proven on the Cambridgeshire fens. Bull sire is a 100% percent proven ball sniffer from Hull.

Thanks mate! It was nice to eat something proper. Those dehydrated bags are convenient and very lightweight.. especially if you filter some water up on the hill to save weight carrying it up, but it's still not like tucking into real food with proper chunks of meat! -

Took all the cooking gear as I'd have a bit of time to kill. Lamb, noodles, bit of pre chopped pepper and onion and whacked a stir fry sauce in with it. Was pretty good to be fair. Can't beat eating hot food outside when it's cold! -

Managed to get out last night for camp by myself. Up on Derwent edge.. 3 mile walk I'm. Found a nice little pitch tucked away by some rocks to keep the very strong north easterly off me! They'd forecast full sun but didn't i much of it!! -
I'm getting fed up of my mate who works nights sending me his eat all you can breakfast pics most mornings whilst I'm at work!! It doesn't wind me up honest!

You got your eye on anywhere in particular in England mate? I'm just about smack bang in the middle. There's f**k all here but it's great for getting around the UK! No idea where I'd actually go if I ever was to move.

Crikey!! What a story that is. I actually proposed to my wife down there somewhere.. back when I was 23 years old, so maybe the year 2000. We went for a meal on the night of our engagement at the Focsle Inn at Combe Martin. I remember having a mixed grill in there. It was a really rough sea that night and the waves were crashing right upto the front of the pub which must have been unusual. The chef and other kitchen staff actually came out to see what was happening. That was 25 years ago.. all logged in the old memory bank! -

I'm having a fiver on North Devon! -
Oh right. Looks like I'm wrong again then!

Same here pal. I love regional accents and i think it's a good thing they're still surviving in today's world. I've only got to go up the road 20 minutes from here to Eckington and it's a different lingo altogether!! Lol..

I actually heard just the other day mate why us folk around here call work food snap.. because of the 'snap' on lids that were used on those tins back in the day! Some people might already have known that.. I didn't! Lol..

Some nice bokeh/ blur going on there. Any idea what lense was used mate? Looks like a really low F number with that shallow depth of field. I'm guessing a telephoto lens of some sort because of the reach needed for the small birds unless a hide was used or heavy cropping of the imagine afterwards. Also, I'm guessing the blur can be added in processing after, not suggesting that's been done here mind. I bet those pics look great at rull res on the desk top, I'm only on my phone here!

My sister got this from Penrith. Just looks like light pollution from the KFC car park I said!
