  1. What you doing in my field! Nice pic though ?
  2. See my big dog never has pulled on a lead since I had him as a pup all you feel when he sees something is a slight tremor on the slip but soon as he’s slipped he’s off.
  3. I was out ferreting at a spot the other day, this is a big spot and very deep, it’s been ferreted, shot and trapped forever and the bunnys are still there and long may they continue. Anyway, at the top of this banking there’s a old fence with a hedge along it that has been fixed here and there over the years so is a mass of wire, string and all sorts. As I was setting some nets in the hedge I found this in the entrance of a hole covered in soil, hopefully someone can identify it to satisfy my curiosity.
  4. There tablets, I would just grind half a tablet up for the terrier. I think there about £3.50 for a bottle and they will last you a while.
  5. I had a similar thing with one of my terriers, it wasn’t from a flea bite though. She had a intolerance to something so my vet told me to go to boots and buy a bottle of vitamin b complex and put it in her food, it worked a treat. He said he could have prescribed me something expensive that would have done the same job but he’s not out here to fleece people.
  6. The more buyers the better. Thats what’s going wrong with the new age, everybody wants to be able to make dinner in the magic 30 mins. Nobody is buying large cuts anymore it’s all filleted this, diced that...
  7. My old boy once bred from a undershot sheepdog bitch, none of the pups inherited the fault. But also, only one of the pups was any good out the litter but I don’t believe that had anything to do with the bitch. These were sheepdogs though not running dogs so the need for a good mouth isn’t as vital as a running dog.
  8. https://www.britishdog.net/CompanyInfo That’s the site that sells them, I spoke to the guy who owns the site, he told me the dogtrace is easier to use than the SportDOG.
  9. I believe the Garmin are known to be the best. The only thing that puts me off buying one is the having to change the maps from yank to English, I’m useless with computers. I guy off here uses one of these so I might give this one a try. either that or the SportDOG
  10. No, keeping me out all day and night looking for him! ?
  11. I know what he had been up to... ?
  12. Great stuff, was a good write up ?. Keep at it.
  13. He’s at home now safe and sound! me and a few good lads off here made are way up the fell first thing this morning, after many miles of searching, we were making are way to check a section of woodland when one of the lads took a quad back down to my house. My missus was there ready to leave, someone had called to say they had him at the local pet shop, so off she went, 20 mins later he’s back home curled up in the sofa where he belongs. He was found 5 or 6 miles away from where I last saw him. Other than a little scratch on his toe and putting in a cold night he’s fine
  14. I was out with the lamp till 9 last night and still nothing. Im just waiting on the lads to get here so we can head up for another look. There is also I guy coming up who looks for lost dogs with a drone.
