  4. Welcome to the forum pal, Maybe start by introducing yourself, maybe a birth name? What sports you're into, exactly? Any ambitions? What you would like to gain from being a member here? I look forward to reading more about you and hope you settle in just fine White
  5. I didn't think there was much meat on bats anyway and surely most animals of that nature are riddled with stuff you wouldn't wish to consume?
  6. I see your point but I wouldn't be questioning he vets antics as it wouldn't be his/her duty to tend to it if this knob head didn't make this poor dog suffer. I think we need to cull the world of these numskulls. Something really wrong with these people and no excuse to keep them alive
  7. Should be easy to do, if not, there's usually a share option with a direct link.....
  8. Ive never know fruit bats to interfere with humans, so where's the connection there?
  9. Thanks Charlie, I have considered it as an acquaintance of mine is in to his rifles and shotguns, seems to be out most days or hell of a lot more than people I know, with their air rifles (he's also the one who alerted me about the local syndicate) but whilst I'm back and forth between county's and no permanent address, how I'd stand for getting a shotgun license and finding an address to fix a gun cabinet to, etc. A lot to look into but it's something I have considered White
  10. Don't suppose you could train my lab for me at the same time hahaha Welcome to the forum pal, we hope you enjoy it here. White
  11. If you have a look through this section you will find 90% plus is people asking for permission, and each and every one who posts is told somewhere along the line that this is a hunting site so no-one is going to offer it, yet still they ask. Put yourself in the position of someone who has land to shoot on, would you tell a person who has posted just a couple of times on here that they were welcome on your land? If you would you wont keep it long that I promise you.Why not try to participate in the forums and get to know people, I've made one or two good friends over the years on here who I go
  12. Camping wouldn't be hectic for nightlife, security won't let you in if your late, we stayed herehttp://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=13497 You can party on and taxi is around a tenner to Telford, right spot in there..... No edrd stall, but Johny Bluck had a stall....great show for hunting gear, haggle on the price..... Ironbridge is quite a taxi journey from Cosford direction but taxis in Telford are probably cheapest around tbf. I'm heading down on Friday night, Telford town centre with IMAX, pizza express and a few night caps in the premier inn. Saturday at the
  13. Hello mate, You definitely won't be dissapointed with the TX200 HC, it looks great and shoots better! Matty did a lovely job on it and I have no doubts its made a great rifle just that little bit better, especially in the smoothness and sound department! Still not had the chance to take it to my permission yet, but It will be coming with me to the meet this weekend so hopefully it will do me proud (I know the gun wont let me down, more worried about my shooting) ATB Daryl Thanks Darly, I won't lie, I'm really looking forward to owning one and having a nice rifle for onc
  14. you need to be 'important' t get any police about....... Possibly true but "being safe, than sorry" is always a good motto to live by, especially in our sports. I personally try and cover it from all angles that whenever I'm out that nothing spoils a good morning/night out. The police being the last people I expect to see White
  15. Hahaha well at least you know what you're doing and can help your friends out I do love my springers, yet to open one up to appreciate how they work or know how to repair one but from rifles like Weihrauch and Air Arms are no doubt made with such precision and quality, I don't think I'll need to Nothing against my BSA's but I can't wait to move up again. White
  16. My old permission was on private land, even with signs displaying this, there was still joggers and dog walkers trespassing the woods and fields I'd hunt on.... So seeing me there in my camo and with my rifle on my shoulder always put the shit up them. I called the police now and then but nothing ever happened so I ended up leaving it. Bottom line, some people are lucky with the location of their perms but it's always good to inform them then have a squad turn up and rifles aimed on you and to ruin a night hunting. White
  17. Meat by itself is always one of them, depends on how you cook it. However, if you marinade it or cook it with sauces, it helps it to be more palatable for the first time. Never had squirrel I've caught myself but it's not too far from chicken in texture and a game taste, from what I can remember. White
  18. Well rewarded for your generosity! I hope all goes well with the tractor and keep on up with the hunting. PS: nice rifle White
  19. I know yours has seem a little TLC from a skilled gunsmith (we can call him that, right? ) but I'm looking forward to getting my TX200 HC! Those groupings were nice and tight, I can't wait to hear how you get on with it on your permission. Atb White
  20. Very dappa, some nice camo'ing on the HW and the MK4 White
