    BSA Ultra and Scorpion, Air Arms (AA) S200 and maybe a S400 if you're a savvy shopper. All good rifles, British made too and good customer support teams as I've heard. Being a pet dog, there wasn't much of a specific diet as yours may require.     Having a permission is essentially a job, you may want to go looking clean and smart. Ideally, id take some sort of paperwork with you: as you would with a CV or business card to give your credentials; past permissions, referees, insurance if you have any and contact details. I doubt you'll ever need insurance with ferreting but on the off chance, i believe something like BASC will cover it.     Too true RAW but wouldn't you think the victim would recognise the attacker? Agreed, probably happened so fast he wouldn't have had time to familiarise himself with him. Something like this though, the victims probably been questioned as to any possible reasons why it happened, anyone who it could be, past conflicts, any threats.........
