    Is it broken enough to want to fix? From what I see day to day, folk living in the current Scotland have got it good, folk in general are doing well financially. Even though a 100% no, I decided to leave it to the scots to decide there own fate, just remember "The grass ain't always greener"

    I'm f***ing sick of the lot of it, Scotland is my adopted home & love it just the way it is. It's beyond me why folk are willing to blindly jump into the unknown with virtually no facts. Do you really think your country is that bad at present, that you'll risk everything, including the future generations of your own family, on the off chance that you'll be the rich, independant country that's free of England?     Grouse be it red or black & the capper eat a very different diet from the pheasant partridge or chicken.. I'd say the crumb he's feeding is the source of his problems. There's often a reason things aren't done these days & that because folk have been there & tried it already, with poor results.. Personally if I was him I'd give up.

    Bales? Used that wind break netting on a pen, think it was 60 or % , that worked well but tested the posts... Long term plant canary grass or similar & get & let some light into the strip to get natural ground cover to grow..

    Picked up tripe for the hounds once a week, the owner was from a big hunting family, all British bar 1, always seamed good craic going on, earlie starts & earlie finishes. As for hard work?!? They've machines to do nearly everything , a hunt kennel flesh house is hard work..

    Had one over in phucket when there with the mrs, it felt like I'd had a go with gnasher & socks, lol, for two days I felt battered, but after that wore of everything seamed surprisingly good, lol

    Sadly humans use canines to do alot of jobs that we simply can't, what everyone seams to forget is there a "animal" that can't think & process information like us, accidents can & do happen, some with bigger repercussions than others. But the hunting community should know how our beloved media blow a story up to please joe public & give them the gore that they seam to crave. A cross between a springer & Alsatian??? lol, I stopped reading it from there. And before anyone gets the knickers in a twist I'm not defending anyone.
