  1. I wouldn't say they are very much below par now with the new blood lines brought into the kennels if it's the pack I think your talking about. It is indeed & I still think the same :-) you can have a Ferrari in the garage but it ain't much use if the driver isn't interested in going for a good spin ;-) until the young lad grows up & takes over it will always be the same.
  2. Everyday were out :-p No, my bad punctuation, lolBeing a hunting man I refer to the guns are "fuckers" or similar, I'd never use such a word to describe old Charlie boy ;-p
  3. The pack I'm on about, doesn't go "hunting" there there to flush foxes to guns on big Scottish estates. I'd say over 50% are shot before a single hound has spoken, just being moved from the guns getting into place. Some days 60 or 70 of the fuckers.. It's not about hunting this far north it's all about quick efficient control.. Hence why he won't do it for free, well that and the fact he's a grippy cu nt , haha
  4. Yes but more than likely not the life you love ;-)
  5. £300 plus for a registered gun pack day on shoots up here, 400 for 2 days, 500 for 3 days & that's with a pack very much below par
  6. With comments like that your everything I f***ing dispise about the terrier game, idiot !!!
  7. They can be funny old creatures when a stranger is trying to catch them, as I'm sure you know. Good luck & fair play for putting the miles in for your hunting
  8. We were out yesterday with a small pack, all legal up here mind. It's nothing like a day with the hounds, doing smaller bits, no long points like you get with hounds & no field up the huntsmans arse cackling shite all day. The beagle / beagle crosses will push as fox out of "thick" cover as quick if not quicker than a most packs of hounds can. With less people come less noise around the covers allowing the guns to account for a lot more as foxes feel safer breaking out.. But having said all that, I'd agree with a earlier post, 35 years in and around hunts & you've never seen or talke
  9. If a fox wants on a island it'll get there, no ifs no buts. Feed it & they shall come, just be patient
  10. Not sure where to start with that one but shooting on the skyline come on you can't be serious it's thl dan, he'll be deadly serious
  11. Just goes to show, you just never know. Sad loss of a great young talent..
  12. A digging dog is as handy as a bolting dog. I'm not knocking anyone that won't entertain a bolter type under there feat, we all know that bolting doesn't test a dog like a dig to it, but that doesn't mean that the "gay little bolter" doesn't have a big role to play in controlling foxes for keepers all over the country. Any way as you say it's been done to death, Atb fella
  13. By a good un I guess you mean a good digging dog?, afraid to say "if" you've a good digging dog, bolts are few & far between. You lot are so narrow minded its laughable, cowardice this, jacket that, lol #ivasupermultitool
  14. Suprised it's still there with that lot standing over it :-)
  15. Aye a lad I know had to stop at lunchtime, 99 taken and at £25 a bird if you go over didn't want to chance it..... f**k that, where's the 10%?? Every where Iv shot & worked gives a 10% lea way either side of the agreed bag.. Anyway, shoots going great up here & only just had 1 good frost.
  16. Looks shit, haha Have fun & dina work to hard
  17. Great stuff fella. But did I read right , you called the border a terrorist?!? That's rich ;-p haha
  18. Iv had boot dryers since they first appeared, there great, put wet boots on at 6pm & they dry out by the next morning, doesn't damage leather & keeps them from stinking so quick..
  19. Yep, no doubt, but they'll just be like the cheap Irish horses, lolYou'll get what you pay for, 2k will see you get a fully trained dog, but my experience says that most are ruined with in the first year by folk with all the gear & no idea..
  20. Les just ask him out on a date, this sexual tension is getting all to obvious ;-)
