  1. No. I never filmed anything. It stopped the family home being repossessed. My mother thanked my by repaying the £12k when she sold the house. The other £300k from the sale was given to my sister... He was on about the original video clip you plank :-) hope all is well mate..
  2. All of mine, terriers lurcher and gundogs, are all done the same. Entertain them with something they like, normally food. Get someone to stand 100yards away and fire a couple of shots, if it's unfazed just keep lowering the distance. Sometimes can be done in 20 minutes with s bolder pup, or a week or more for a shyer type.. You will see signs of it not liking the bang before it freaks out, learn to see the signs and you'll not go far wrong..
  3. Should sell these no problem mate, seen some good one's. I can't stand when people put keeper bred pup's for a pitch, if you ask me keepers dogs are not all what they are made out to be.Aye but in fairness, most keepers get there kennels built, feed & vets bills payed for by there boss, so are much more likley to be well looked after tykes, who's dam & sire get to see plenty work, on average Id say it's mainly keepers that have the good steady dogs on shoots..
  4. Cheers Shropshire, think my paperwork will be fine by the sound of it. Just so annoying that I can't get on the course, Killgerm say it needs a minimum of 2 people, you'd think they would run the course for one person, who for all they know could spend thousands with them over the years, I now can't get on with my business confidently because they need £300 instead of £150, for a course they advertise as running every month!!
  5. What paperwork is a must for completing, during a rodenticide treatment on farms? To get as far as the treatment stage I know you've to do a enviromental risk assessment inc the crru code.. Is it just visit reports & standard risk assessment after that?? Been waiting a fair while for the Killgerm rodents on farms course, but it seams I'm the only one wanting to do it this summer!! Cheers in advance
  6. Most amatures wouldn't be near a pack of hounds if they didn't have money to throw at it. I'm not saying there's not a couple out there that aren't good huntsman, but imo there few & far between.. I'd much rather work under a man that had served his time, starting from cleaning beds & drains, then through to the flesh house for a season or two, and so on, atleast hunting & hunt service is in there blood.. You'd certainly not stay in the job as a professional if your heart wasn't in it, especially in this day & age.
  7. There's one thing ruining packs & jobs more than anything & that's the money saving trend of amature huntsman
  8. With him being huntsman, everything that's supposedly gone on, would have ALL been under his instructions..!! The man kept his hounds in shite, he couldn't hunt a cow in a barn, just a sad bitter man..
  9. No cattle water troughs about? T pipe of just before the trough. Saves some work..
  10. Sounds like they found her & didn't bother reporting her found, not good but I don't think its quite the same as going out to lift a dog, still a bit of a cnuts trick though. Just glad she's back..
  11. No she wasn't chipped already, vet had seen posts on social media.. Il hopefully find out more when I speak to the vet.. From what I gather it's someone local ish to where she went from..
  12. Never give up & never knock social media!! 30 days later, She's been found, at a vets where she was booked in to be chipped & registered as the new owner.. Cheers for the help guys!!!
  13. Yep they've had 2 visits rabbit hunter..
  14. It might have already been said, but the 3oclock fox I believe, comes about when the air temperature drops below the temp of the ground. A old saying that makes sense, to me anyway, is that if you see smoke sinking to the ground from a chimley, scent would be good.. What I find amazing is the variety of noses in every good pack, from deep scenting hounds that go away when the rest can't utter a squeak, to the hound you know will take the pack up a tarred road again when the rest would likley need lifting and cast along the road. Hounds & scent are two of the most fascinating things in li
  15. Still no news folks, just hope the adds in the magazines stir something up..
  16. No nothing yet mate, guess Iv just got to keep her going round the Internet & hope someone that has a suspicion or knows where she is, sees them & stops to think how they'd feel being in my position..
  17. Il drop you a pm later black dog. Just while I'm replying, I contacted 3 magazines about getting sorted with "stolen" adds in there next issues, two replied within the hour saying there wouldn't be any charge, the other was full whack price as if I was selling something, il leave you to guess who the latter was. But I guess it's a small price to pay for possibly getting her back, but it speaks volumes about the other two ;-)
  18. Cheers lads, slim chance, but I don't want to sit here next year saying, I could have done this or that, I'm trying everything in my powers & that of others & see what happens. Fingers crossed.. Fuc king light fingered b*****ds!!! (Cheers for the picture rearrange :-) much better haha)
  19. My bitch which was with a friend at the bdh kennels, went missing on Thursday, all holes checked, vets, pounds & wardens contacted. Farmers keeper spoken too etc etc etc, so presumed stolen. Big cash reward for her return, share photos on other pages if you can, make her too hot to handle.. Few lads off here have litter mates to this bitch. Cheers in advance (hope the photos work)
  20. Just goes to show fd, I know you do a bit, like wise me, but when doing April dens, if a vixen doesn't bolt & a rescue of the terrier is needed, a vixen will more often than not be as bad as a big January dog.. Atb
  21. It's only the top inch or so that you de stone. So won't effect the drainage either way.
  22. Because the chances are the lazy b*****ds that preped it previously couldn't be arsed & is likley full of stones..I prep it the same as I would if I was turfing, gives the seed a good bed of tilf. Don't tell me you just rotarvate seed then roll?
  23. If matching the grass is a issue for you, spray the whole lot off, rotarvat, de stone & re seed. If not, I'd guess at it being a fairly standard amenity type grass, prep & seed the bare patch & top dress the rest with a little top soil & seed.
  24. " quest "....its not a quest i am pathetically retarded what of it ?.................theres another one for the ankle biters posse !Come on gnasher I didn't say I'd lower myself to the level of maturity on this thread, or lack of it I should say, that would just be plain embarrassing, if it's not above you, could you explain "there's another one for the ankle biters posse" I know this will hurt you but my comment was aimed at everyone not just you old boy, but well done on admitting you are acting that way. From someone who should know better, you ain't half been sucked in, again. Poor old
