  1. Socks! What scarey good eyes you have mate! Well found. Tiercel, look on the picture where the path comes to an end. There is a 'horizon' of grass going up the hill. Follow that ridge line. You'll find a dark patch in the bushes. By the time you've spotted it, he would have shot you.
  2. In this one, you'll probably need a zoom, to be fair. Full screen at least! Follow the grass line on the right of the path, up the hill. If you're using a phone...give up now.
  3. I remember the thread. I think it was entitled "This kid's a prick" or something of that ilk. The kid was a bellend. It's idiots with guns that give real hunters a bad name. How come you're looking for that thread?
  4. Walshie, you'll get these in an instant mate: http://militaryhumor.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/military-humor-can-you-spot-the-sniper.jpg http://i.huffpost.com/gadgets/slideshows/338340/slide_338340_3448256_free.jpg One for the coffee lover: http://www.moillusions.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/04/face-in-beans.jpg?2fad8a
  5. And we're all very proud of you. To be fair, your picture noticing is better than my kill rate with rabbits haha
  6. For the 2 girls...look dead centre of the picture.
  7. This one properly threw me!!! http://www.slaphappylarry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/when-you-see-it.png If you can't see it, I'll post the answer tomorrow.
  8. Here's a few more to enjoy: http://cdn.whenuseeit.com/2013/3/11/whenuseeit.com_1698_1363013005.jpg http://www.fengshuiweb.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Can-you-see-it.jpg http://gaby.fachrul.com/img/womenfashionboot/image-where-can-you-get-combat-boots/can-you-see-it690-x-523-88-kb-jpeg-x.jpg http://d2ws0xxnnorfdo.cloudfront.net/meme/3030.jpg
  9. That's some dodgy reflection is it was a lake. To be fair, that 'reflection' is why I started doing a confused dog impression, where they turn their heads side to side, then by accident it suddenly became clear what was going on. Good find Sandymere
  10. Just saw this. I will admit it took about a minute or 2 to find it. Initially I thought you were going to say the broken glasses on the top of the headboard/self. Then I thought you were going to say something about how the bed is like a chop-shop car, where it's a load of bits of furniture badly put together. Then the corner looked odd.......and I saw it. The girl is willingly hiding immigrants under her bed!
  11. Permissions are hard to get. But well done for not asking for a permission to shoot on. The trying is hard, but the end result it well worth while.
  12. What are you going to do if she sees the blood coming out it's face? Probably best to put it in a blanket that's covered up. Or, just be honest and say..."I killed them and ate them. Bloody delicious!" haha Get some pics of how the hunting went. Just remember, if you're shooting up into a tree, be super careful of the backdrop of the shot if the pellet gets deflected and takes out a neighbor's window. You might get caught for not having Stun Pellets!
  13. I like them. The line work looks to be really even. As with any tattoo with white in it, it'll need touching up now and again, but that's the nature of white in a tattoo. Cool tattoos.
  14. Change of gun and you'll had a good bag....and more bunnies for next time.
  15. Can I ask what you did to take them out? Did you walk around? Did you lay in position? Did you open doors and look in? Did you open a door and post up on that position? Also, if you were outside, can I ask whether you checked the moon? Don't forget that rats have pretty good night vision. So if it's a full moon for you or me, it'll be like midday to them. So ratting while illuminated by a full moon will be a very uneventful thing. I learned that the hard (and embarrassing) way. Sat outside a chicken house (barn) in the moonlight, trying to shoot into the pitch black (night vision in play)
  16. Very true. I like the idea of Carry On Ebola. It really sums up the way the government are dealing with the crisis, like a Carry On film. haha
  17. Hell of an offer! If I was closer I'd happily drag you out ratting with me (not rimfire of course). For all the people asking for permissions, yet nobody has replied....it says a lot. I used to live around Basingstoke (Old Basing) and used to pop rabbits on the rec with my catapult, as a kid. Very naughty! Also, when walking to the rec I first saw ferreting and saw a rabbit killed. I think it traumatised me a little.
  18. well as it says in my post i am new to all of this!!how am i supposed to know if i do not ask? i honestly didn't know it was like that That's a fair answer, and I do appreciate that as a response. Usually people get an absolute rashing for this question. You're lucky Rake hasn't appeared yet. When he does, just take it with a pinch of salt. Chris Harris got a right earful and absolutely ridiculed, but he's stuck with it, now has a permission, and if you check out his 'Absolute Disaster' thread, you'll see that we are knobs, but also very helpful. As hard as you find it, it's the
  19. To put this request into perspective, you are on a Porsche enthusiast forum and have asked, can I have a go with your Porsche? Most people with permissions have worked bloody hard to get them. EVERYONE with a permission works hard to keep it. I can't see many people making the offer for someone they do not know to turn up and start shooting on their highly valued permission.
  20. UKIP are a bigger threat than ebola...not a threat to the UK population, but a threat to the dirge that currently resonates in the houses of parliament. UKIP is now seen as being more than a protest vote. It's being seen as a positive step towards a better government option. When the Argentinian Democracy App becomes widespread things will be really fascinating! A vote for UKIP is not a vote for Labour. Whoever said that is an idiot! The first 4 words of that sentence clearly state it's A VOTE FOR UKIP. As a better slogan, A VOTE FOR UKIP IS A VOTE FOR THE UK. The best part...all t
  21. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/ebola/11152853/Ebola-crisis-disease-may-already-be-in-Britain-as-man-dies-on-business-trip.html So let me get this right, a guy from the UK has gone on a business trip to Macedonia, and died in the style of Ebola. However, no ebola in Macedonia
  22. I'm pretty sure the Daily Express has NEVER gotten a forecast right. If they say rain, I'll be in shorts and tshirt. When they say sun, pack an umbrella. HAHAHAHAHA: Covering all bases: http://www.express.co.uk/news/nature/520743/Torrential-rain-and-spring-tides-pose-flood-risk
  23. I use 2 torches on my setup. First is a normal full spectrum torch that I have on a horizontal mount at the side of my barrel. This is great for rat-lamping (a rat will often freeze for 2-3 seconds when hit with a strong beam of light). The second is an IR torch. I have this mounted above my scope vertical to the scope and gun. I also use a spotting system with zero zoom. Whenever the IR spotting beam hits the back of the scope, the screen on my scope system totally screws up! Play about with different mounting positions. I had to move mine forward a little because the balance was off for
