The behaviour change I was referring to was my assumption for what gnasher said when he said "That's adaptation not evolution." was about the lizards, not the E.Coli. As for the second part: But would it be from a random mutation? But that would then depend on the instances of the mutation within the population as to whether it's evolution. It'll really give you a good basis in which to view evolution. Also, I think you should have specified "Behavioural adaptation" to make your point clearer. Sorry you are wrong. The campaign has been led by Labour, TV debates by Alister Darling, Gordon Brown been doing a bit. The Conservatives have kept quite a low profile for obvious reasons. The problem with the NO campaign is it has been too sober, clinical and negative. If you want to rally the troops you need to stir up a bit of nationalistic pride like the YES campaign has with it's Hollywood pseudo historic Braveheart bollocks. Unfortunately the traitor left in England do not have a patriotic bone in their bodies, so they were incapable of projecting a positive image of Geat Britain.

A lab experiment first perfromed in 1880 which subjected an isolated strain of E.coli to heat (a change in environment) in an effort to force an adaptation to a new environment has resulted in new strains to develop, one of which has the ability to grow on citric acid. The original strain did not have this ability. Along a similar line, bacteria has evolved antibiotic resistance. This is proof that population gene pools adapt to environmental changes. Has anyone else noted how rubbish the 'No' campaign has been? It's currently being lead by Conservatives, right? Why is it so rubbish a campaign? Is it because the conservatives are to rubbish? The true irony is that both Science and Faith should actually work together, each one helping the other. Many of the leading scientists in the UK are Christian and say they are amazed the ignorance of Christians. Think about the Higgs Boson particle, the God-Particle. Happy to elaborate. The first half of this is Biblical, then I'll go into the realm of science. Biblically "Each species was created according to it's own kind." The only species that was not 'created' is Mankind. Mankind was made in God's image by God. Wow, creation vs Big Bang. Okay, here you go.... See previous message about the mis-interpretation of the original scripture. The sequencing of all the 'ages' or 'periods of time' from the Bible would fit with the sequence of the Big Bang. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, on the back of an elephant, on the back of a giant turtle. The thing is, it just doesn't work. The maps showing the 'curved' flight routes is because a circular map cannot be drawn properly on a flat square of paper. When you look at the google earth flight plans around the antarctic, if the line of the flight was directly under the camera angle, it would be a straight line. Oh and I think people are getting ready to re-create Earnest Shackleton's expedition. So we'll find out soon anyway. p.s. how long does it take to sail around Greenland?

One word...dinosaurs. Many millions of years old, but impossible by Bible timescales. So I started researching. In the original text Genesis is written in, there are 2 anomalies in translation. For me, the biggest difference is in where I'm shooting. Everyone knows I do a lot of ratting, which is why I am so crap at bagging rabbits. From experience, unless you're posting up on a single site, you need a carbine when going around chicken areas. If you're lay on the floor shooting down the lower egg belt, you'll bang the barrel of the standard gun against the supporting legs a lot and scare off the rats. The increased manoeuvrability means a super short barrel/carbine is best for indoor-mobile ratting. Changing from one spot to another. For out in the fields, I love the feel of

I'm going to try and get out tomorrow morning for a shoot. Just worried I'll be lay there, see a rabbit, and cough.
