  1. I've been playing around with a few different shooting positions after getting a set of shooting sticks. Tried a few left handed shots, unsupported, supported, bipods, sticks, standing, kneeling, prone, etc. Wow, what an education it is to really get to know so much about my guns. Granted I'm never going to be lay in my side taking shots Hollywood style, but it was still an interesting experiment.
  2. Just found this page: http://www.hn-sport.de/en/media/product-videos/baracuda-hunter-extreme.html
  3. http://www.hn-sport.de/en/products/air-gun-pellets/hunting-and-field-target/baracuda-hunter-extreme.html Would love to get some feedback on these. I enjoy ratting with Bisley Pest Control, so shorter ranges which means accuracy isn't hugely affected, however, the impacts are amazing! What do you think these will be like? Anyone got any experience with these?
  4. I was just going to pop on here and say that I'm happy as can be, holding a zero like a boss! Granted there were a few adjustments required, e.g. for wind and distance! haha. Was shooting some small spinners in the garden late yesterday, 8 for 8 on target!!!
  5. You'll have to factor in Import Taxes, so the price could end up being about the same. You'll not need a permit to import a scope.
  6. Tour De Pharmacy? All on drugs! Everyone knows it. Having said that, I really don't care. I could pump up with all the drugs those guys take and there's no way I could do what they do!!! I'd not even be 10% as good as them. We'll be watching it from home. Will try and catch the final stages at our usual TdF Final Stage pub, in Woolacombe. Am I excited? A little. The wife loves cycling, so she's well hyped.

Saying that down Somerset is the equivalent of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7S5BP-tvR8

Same with camping mate. 6 side salads, 9 portions of fruit and veg, 1 loaf of bread, 3 share packs of crisps, 1 jar of peanut butter, 1 jar of chocolate spread-peanut butter mix, 3 packs of various humous, 1 selection of Mexican dips, 2 packs of 'dippers' (food to dip in the humous and Mexican stuff), 4 packs of veggie burgers+sausages, Pop-Tarts (I love Pop Tarts), plus chocolates. We were going for A night of camping!!!!!! Yes, a night. Just the one, with breakfast in the morning!!!
  9. Sports boxers, and not peeing while lay in tic infested grass!
  10. I opted to relax on the sofa with the cat and watch youtube. Much safer than any suggestion provided. My wife's not strong for a woman, she's just strong! So facial aftershock would have landed me in Intensive Care!!!
  11. I'm new, but as regular as a prune addict!
  12. It's the wife's birthday, and we're off camping. As usual I'm up around 5am, and would normally pop to my Saturday Permission. Well, not this time. Already I could have missed 3 shots by now! Instead I'm at home. So....what to do? I can't really practice in the garden, that'll get me in trouble with the wife. Just sat watching Youtube videos at the moment, being mauled by an overly affectionate cat.
  13. Can I just make a statement that might get me into trouble, but it's very true. Wales, Scotland, and even Ireland (in part at least) are joined with the UK as being the United Kingdom. National pride is not about my principality is better than yours. It's about 'we, as a united nation, are fricking awesome!' I have Scottish heritage, went to uni in Wales, lives up North in the UK for years, now live down South in the UK. Guess what....it's the same nation. So national pride is not about the specific part of the nation you're from, it's about the nation as a whole.
  14. Haha, you know what I mean mate. Think of us as an island of hardcore lurchers. We're a nation where people have moved in, e.g. Vikings, Barbarians, Romans, etc, to the point where nobody is 100% pure English genetics. However, the larger array of genetic coding in our DNA is one of the reasons why our ancestors were so easily able to cope with this island.
  15. That's awesome. I was half tempted to berate for the permission request, I have made 2 large posts about permissions, e.g. not to ask on a forum, and how to get them. But I figured not to do so. Instead, you have shown that sticking at it works out! Well done fella. I look forward to seeing your pics of outings.
  16. Wow this has diverted a lot from the OP. I'm going to hopefully bring the rant back round...the UK is 100% a mongrel nation. The thing that unites us it the flag and laws under which we live. Even though we may not like the laws. Are we the greatest nation on earth? No. I think ImagiNATION is the greatest nation on earth! haha. However, we are all from seperate areas of the world. My herriate is tracked back to the Vikings. But we have a massive Indian presence in my family...my dad was 3/4 Indian (he's passed away, thus my use of the word WAS). But he worked from washing milk bott
  17. Glad you're taking my advice. Remember, you have to shout "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!" be before doing so, make sure there are no obstacles in the way of your one man stampede! Tables can make it more embarrassing for you.
  18. After a mods job are you HELL NO! I mod on 2 other websites. I'm just trying to work out how guys can get bikini women back as their avatars, but being sneaky enough to look good in the process haha
  19. It's a Tawt that can only walk backwards....obviously!!!
  20. I think that's a fear response, over compensating their courage. I look at these people and think, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!! Then I usually run at them like a bull, with my hands on my head, index fingers as horns. Possibly not the most socially acceptable course of action, but HA, I showed him!
  21. Well, because you asked so nicely....I do get a go with your wife first right? haha
  22. I'm 95% that it's a baby robin. What size are we looking at? Judging from the size of the grass, it looks around that size.
  23. Wow this has really made a transition from the OP. I think the point was, if a person that likes the forum from the FB page is allowed to have their picture on the screen, and their picture is of a woman/girl in a bikini, why are the other members not allowed the same rights? This does seem to be a fair enquiry. The rules state NO: Nudity, see-through clothing, Lewd or provocative poses including close-ups of breasts, buttocks, etc So this would be open to interpretation of what a person thinks defines provocative POSES. So the direct translation of the rules would suggest that p
  24. WOW, I want to buy a ShamWow Right NOW!!! (try saying that 10 times quickly).
  25. It's better to be kind than to be right.
