  1. I am not really interested in this particular fight. I have never liked khan, I find him a bore in and out of the ring no matter how hard he tries to claim he is something more. I consider Pacquio one of the best fighters ever but I do not understand why he keeps fighting, surely he doesn't need the money and is only going to further damage his reputation and health by continuing his career. To pick a result I sadly would say khan on points but hope I am wrong.
  2. How can anything be won or lost in a conversation about history.....its simply a difference of opinion thats all theres no points to be proved ......shoplifters dont publically discuss shoplifting so theres no ego,s to protect or ground to be gained a person would have to be pretty thick to chat about such things while in ownership of anything remotely resembling a bulldog so like anything else its just an interesting subject that throws up talking points no more no less.None of my criticism was aimed at you, you sound like a very patient man. If anything I was hoping you would keep contributi
  3. Please don't take it so serious(not aimed at anyone in particular) , I like to hear the history and stories. Some of the knowledge that is told is very difficult /impossible to come by and I personally appreciate that you share your knowledge. At the end of the day it is not a competition, but it seems some are trying to 'win' or prove a point unnecessarily. Please stay calm and keep sharing, I am sure I am not alone in enjoying the 'true' stuff and disregarding the 'ego' stuff.
  4. I believe wolves can get along with humans without a problem until they get hungry. Once there is a shortage of prey or there is an easier option eg sheep, pets, etc all bets are off. I also think that is why protection style dogs like maremma and kangols can be an effective deterrent. I don't believe we have come close to producing a dog with the survival capabilities of the wolf. Even the fastest, strongest and smartest dogs ever developed have not been tested as hard as the wild wolf. Imagine the best dog you have ever seen having to live in inhospitable areas to avoid humans, catch enough f
  5. This is thread is fuc#en hilarious! Please keep taking this guy serious I am loving it. No 1 Charlie sniffer I would love a beeror ten with you! Understand this though if I see any strange white powders I am GONE! LMFAO
  6. Get a bit of rope put it in a noose, put your head through the loop tie it off somewhere high enough that your feet cannot touch the ground and jump. If you need any more advice I will be very disappointed no wonder folk don't post on here !Lol ?
  7. Whatever you choose don't regret it, life is too short to waste time with regret. Choose your pup give it your best and enjoy yourself. I have wondered how 'that other' pup has turned out and it could easily send a sane man bonkers if you let it. Good luck and I hope you are happy with your choice.

  9. You are good with your banter nothernlite and I was just taking the pi$$ a bit with you there, except when I mistook the X-ray for one of mine lol but some people seem infuriated by the question and nit pick and whine when I bet in their own lives they have asked dumber and sillier questions. I know I certainly have, as the lad said no wonder people don't want to post on here.
  10. If that was really you there is no way you would be on here picking on lads unnecessarily, well I don't do that anyway and I thought that was one of my X-rays until I saw the broken hip.
  11. There really are some bored and simple people on here, the lad just wanted some fresh ideas, why be attacked for that? Maybe that is how bored and simple people entertain themselves, I wouldn't know... If I was in your situation I would just lay down the rules, it is your permission after all. Atvb.
  12. Steroids can give you a lot of benefits but at the end of the day it will be false and probably short lived unless you want to up your dosages or stay ahead of 'the game' and keep up with technology by taking the latest and greatest new drugs on the market. Good luck with financing that. Increasing dosages or using new gear is unpredictable and dangerous. If you want to try a cycle or two you will more than likely benefit and have little side effects but if you go hard it is pretty much inevitable that it will all end in tears. Good luck with whatever you do.
  13. I believe John P Colby only outcrossed once in his whole life and only because he was forced to as his gene pool was just too tight, and if what is true about the dogs he produced he definitely knew what he was doing. If anyone wants a blueprint of how to be a 'dogman' I would recommend to study this great man.
  14. Royal selangor with a decent quality cognac has always kept me toasty warm
  15. Camo Oz frill neck in the heat, the sun protection is awesome and I don't think can possibly be beat and a super fine merino wool beanie when it is cold. I am a baldy too and suffer terribly when my head is exposed to the elements.
  16. Unfortunately that game is just too messy,I truly love those animals and all they stand for and if it were possible to have a decent circle with the improvement of the breed as the number one priority I would love to be involved. In America that is what they had for a long period of time and they produced some excellence. All I have seen here is ego and dishonesty along with a lot of other bull$hit (except for a very few) which ruins it for everyone, especially the breed. It sounds like it is similar across the ditch but I do hope one day things change for the better. IMO those dogs are the ex
  17. In some ways I agree with you, although it doesn't pi$$ me off but I have no inclination to shoot the alpha of any species and I would much rather admire them and let them reproduce their alpha genes. I have one exception and that is pigs. When I hunt pigs with my dogs or rifles I always target the big alpha boar and I am delighted when my dogs do the same. Big boars are such contemptuous and destructive big bullies I feel they are challenging me to catch them if I can. I am not sure if trophy hunters have similar feelings but I don't feel it is my right to judge. One advantage besides the con
  18. If done ethically, I feel there is nothing wrong with shooting elephants. If not done ethically I would join in the furore and be more enraged than anybody, I would demand the death penalty for these low life hunters and request to pull the trigger myself. The problem I see (strangely on a hunting site) is people are enraged regardless of whether it has been done for the right reasons or not. No matter how much I love elephants or Cecil the lion or any other creature I am not going to criticise someone for hunting IF it is done ethically. So much hype and speculation and sensationalising goes
  19. Everyone thinks they are grasping the universe as it really is, not just you. To claim those who question this or disagree are delusional shows arrogance and naivety which does not sit well with me. While you have your science and expertise in certain matters you still do not know everything that happens everywhere in the world. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and I feel reassured the vaccinations that were administered to my kids only had tiny and insignificant doses of harmful poisons in them, I am not %100 convinced that the diseases and viruses they are being vaccinated against are
  20. I read a book about them, apparently they were a hardy farm dog traditionally used in the mountain areas in Japan and were even used to hunt bears. They were nearly extinct after ww2 but then became all the rage with the Americans and in Japan with dogs becoming national celebrities and people even making fortunes selling pups and that is exactly the time things went to sh!t with the breed. Good luck trying to find a good one now...
  21. I would definitely want some grey on both sides, but I love both those breeds
  22. I remember reading about skycat having a border x whippet. I am pretty sure she was saying she was very happy with it's ability in the field. I have heard of people using Russell x whippets here in Oz for pigs in thick cover and loving their heart and prey drive. I think this cross could definitely be handy in the right circumstances. Atvb.
  23. Interesting information sandymere and I am certainly not going to argue with you about this topic... Just curiously do you know of many cases of kids who haven't been vaccinated and suffered because of it? The reason I ask is because I know a few who didn't vaccinate and have never seemed to have any problems. For the record my kids were vaccinated at birth but I have had doubts whether I did the right thing by them. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
  24. I would never inject mercury into my kids knowingly...
  25. I love whiskey, especially the peaty, smokey stuff like lagavulin and caol ila. It doesn't sound like you have a problem to me but could be the start of a problem without self control.Good luck and enjoy but if you start spending more than you can afford or work /health starts to suffer you have to pull your head in. I have known some embarrassing drunks and you do not want to go there. Atvb.
