That sounds excellent and all,and I hope you can maintain that for the rest of your life, but what happens if your a sick old man or even if you are young but don't have the stomach for violence and just want to live quietly and raise your family but your son is getting messed up by some bad crooks or your daughter is getting groomed by a gang of pakis, do you think you will kill them all? Would it help your family if you are in prison? What if you don't kill them all and your family suffers reprisals? I know people have been in these situations who have talked like you previously and they gra

I have always tried to handle things myself but if I was desperate enough I would grass. Why not use an available option which might get me a desired result, sense of honour? Pride? Ego? In saying that it would have to be very serious and probably my last option. I have no love for the cops, they have treated me more unjustly than anybody else and I really want nothing to do with them but to say I would never grass is a big call and I am not sure I could live up to that but I would not even consider grassing someone for lamping hares. Also it's legal to run hares here. Hahaha ?

Question About Wheaten Lurchers
Silversnake replied to forest of dean redneck's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Honestly I have only ever seen one Wheaton in my life in a public off leash dog park. The dog was pure-bred from show lines and desexed, owned by an Englishman non hunter who only ever heard of the breed after he moved to Australia. I was confused by the whole scene... I would truly love to have access to some of the dogs you have over the ditch. Not many Wheaton's over here, especially working Wheaton's I haven't seen. Atvb. -
Question About Wheaten Lurchers
Silversnake replied to forest of dean redneck's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Personally I let all my pitbull pups play together and with other dogs but there always comes a time when their natural instincts kick in and I have to start keeping them seperate no matter how well socialised they've been Of course you do get the odd one that never really "turns on" but that's the exception rather than the rule, IMO. The thing is with bull & wheaten lurchers is that before they given the chance to tune in to other dogs, you've turned em on to hunting, which if all goes well, should see em right for the rest of their lives. You see the same with pure bulls used -
Pack of killers there, the old boy in the first picture looks like he knows his business, do you only run lurchers or do you have terriers or bushers in your pack?

Is The Apbt The True Bulldog Or A Terrier Cross?
Silversnake replied to DogFox123's topic in General Talk
I enjoy this topic even though it is pretty much futile, I personally believe there is terrier blood in apbt and I also believe that the gameness trait comes more from the terrier influence than the bull influence. To me gameness is a terriers greatest asset (I DO NOT mean dead game) when I see a ten pound foxy taking on a hundred pound kangaroo and treating it with disdain it makes my soul glow! My old apbt's used to give me the exact same feeling. I have hunted pigs with many bull type mastiff, ebt, crosses etc, and while they display courage and strength it somehow seems 'different' also re -
All that food looks sensational green lurchers but that BBQ makes my mouth water! I think my favourite food in the world is fresh char grilled seafood. Atvb.

Would be relatively easy to stay off the grid with a good network of friends who are on the grid, not so easy to do it alone or in a foreign country where you don't speak the language. Jason Bourne was pretty good though, even without a memory!

I've had cuttlefish in Hong Kong and that was a lovely dish. A bit like calamari but tastier, possibly my favourite shellfish along with decent crab.About 11 years ago somewhere in between Melbourne and Sydney on the coast we stopped for a bite, the equivalent of £1.20 got me 8 calamari rings the size of onion rings you'd get here and very tasty to. Oz is a great place SS, it's got everything but I heard it's got expensive in recent years. What blade is that in your profile pic? Don't get me wrong I love my country from a geographical point of view, I would like some bigger mountains and a

I love seafood! Here in Oz I have caught some SWEET seafood, to buy really good seafood over here is not so easy. But in all my travels, which does not include Spain, the best seafood I have paid for has been in Japan. I can't put into words how much I enjoyed the seafood over there and I would recommend the trip to any seafood lover.

I drove 2000km round trip (Sydney to underbool) for my saluki x staghound and got a speeding fine on the way home. I had fun on the trip but I don't think I would travel any further, I think that is about my maximum, but who knows? I have had dogs shipped similar distances at my expense but underbool is in the middle of nowhere and shipping was not an option. At the end of the day if you want something you go and get it...

Your welcome mate its an interesting subject........but dont go and spoil it all with books get them boys into a gym.......and if you want to learn then you go with them I will when they're old enough,my oldest's only 5. swimming and karate are on the agenda but ideally they need something every day. I would recommend athletics and gymnastics, kids develop endurance, speed leverage, flexibility and core strength and they also learn, to a degree, to deal with pressure as the competition is fierce! Particularly in athletics. Teach technique more than just pushing through the 'pain barri

yeh prob true , but if they can get a team of players, that will get stuck in like now , it may well be totally different story for the future whats the latest score .? Just being cheeky bird, fair play to the pommy cricketers, I couldn't just take such a humiliation without giving some cheap shot back lol English sports performance has improved over the last 10 or so years with the rugby world cup, ashes victories(that 2005 was heartbreaking and more than a little unlucky for us) a strong London Olympics, the tour de France (though his father was aussie haha) England have a bit to

Couldnt agree more let kids be kids.........for kids a bike is for pissing about on,fighting is about having a laugh with your mates, sport is about creating heros.........by all means guide them towards sport and healthy active living but dont take it too serious.......when they are ready to take it serious you,ll know but pushing them into it too early you may well end up pushing them straight past it ! I totally agree, kids should not be pushed too hard, particularly with hardcore fitness training or excessive pressure but teaching basic balance and leverage techniques will only help them i
