  1. try amber? ... i usually have good results with 1 , amber is good to so ive found well going out with different fox shooters.
  2. they can be overly possesive, especially with their foxes ! i no what you mean the woman that lives up the lane from the farm i go over. called me and my shooting mate over for a chat. she was ok to us really. but i could tell by her voice she wanted us to leave some foxes for her hunt ! she said leave a couple for us hunts people to chase ! but the best thing about it really is her hunt dont go over the farm i go on. so i cant see what its got to do with her what i shoot over there we was winding her up abit saying god we have had loads over here since ive had the permission she
  3. dont get in to anything with them mate. if you do all they got to say is you made threats to them and your rifles could be took of you. go to the law tell them what happened that way if anything else happens they no the story then.
  4. like that dog 3rd picture down mate bullx grey is he very nice
  5. that 243 is knocking them about right left and centre mr logic great stuff
  6. heard the new swaro scope is very nice mate. wish i could aford one sounds like a good set up you have there
  7. i think they have a 1in12 or 1in14 twist rate mate like 22/250 rifles do. this is so they can fire light bullets fast like 40gr or 50gr a lad i no has just started reloading his cz 222 and he is starting out with the 40gr vmax very accurate and flat shooting. he has been told. i have read some where that high twist rate barrels dont like heavy bullets as they are harder to stabilise them. so accuracy isnt as good and fps is alot slower. but i read somewhere that sometimes heavy bullets can be stabilise in these barrels if its got a bit more powder in the homeload as the extra speed
  8. good pictures daz. i would like one of them. its good to if you get a lot of pics of the foxes in one area. you no its a hot spot to wait for them then with your 22/250
  9. sounds silly but make sure the mounts are on the rifle firm mate. the set the target board up abit closer and try to zero it. if that works but it back abit more. then if you still have no luck. see if you can try a different scope on the rifle. and that scope on someone elses rifle. that way you should sort it out and no what the problem is.
  10. burris and bushnell can be got from the usa at very good prices mate woth a look. if you have allways had s&b then look at the pm11 thats if you have £1500 to spare ! plus £200+ for the mounts for it i think you should get them free for a scope cosing that much what rifle you going to be putting the scope on ?

    man u

and the hammers last game of last year......then they had to nick the player who scored ! they didnt nick him mate he just didnt want o play for them anymore. he was just in the shop window at west ham to prove he could do it in the prem. well that and the fact no other team wanted them at the time because they where not sure about the legal side of him bing owned by someone else
  12. as above how many of you homeload or just use factory ammo. or do some of you use both still and why do you homeload because it works out cheaper ? or to make your rifle more accurate or do you think factory ammo is as accurate as you need for vermin control and factory ammo is only really needed for target comps.
  13. good shooting sir. nice pictures to some of those foxes look in fine condition. well did
  14. if your going to spend that money on the bushnell dont get the 6x24x40 get the 6x24x50 with side px you can get them for £300 mate if not you could get one from the usa for that. a lot of people have been bring them back lately. some people i no dont like them as the field of view isnt very big on them. but i dont mind that all i no is the optics are super clear, the build is great, mine has target turrets on it so i could dial in if i didnt want to use mildots. and they hold zero which is what you want ! ive put mine on my hmr and ive never had to adjust the zero on it. they are har

  18. gb sights have good nightvision at good prices worth a look mate. i hear they have a new bit of night vision coming out soon to.
  19. you can get them at www.decoying.co.uk made for your rifle mate. not only that they dont mark your barrel like some over barrel mods can.
  20. you like me i just look for a scope that is built well, got great optics, and holds zero anything else is a bonus
  21. would worry about it to much fella. see what the feo says not what you have heard of other people round by you telling you. good luck im sure it will be fine
  22. looks very nice on that picture mate. and as you said the price mite have gone upabit. but its still a bargain price for such a well made mod that does what you ask of it
  23. yes i find with the mtc as the crosshairs are fine. the ir dont get in the way of the sight picture and if it does you turn it down abit. but on some other scopes as the crosshair is thick. when you turn the ir on it just lights up all the sight picture making it all most impossble to see anything let alone a rabbit or a fox.
  24. i got mine from dave himself mate. but i dont think he does that anymore. as he hasnt time to do the orders and make them. so he sells them though the shop now. and they do the orders and selling and then he just gets on and makes them.
  25. have a word with a guy called beerhunter on the bbs site. i dont no if he gets on here but he has a 204 cal and is into reloading and no's his stuff. he would be worth a chat to mate if not get a 22/250 as what ive seen on video's they stay down then atb jamie
