  1. depends on your shooting really mate ? the 22lr is know to fizz off on all ground sometimes but as long as your sure the shot is safe and you have a good backstop your be fine. if the ground you shoot over is rocky then maybe hmr would suite better. how far are the rabbits you shoot at 60 to yards max ? if so 22lr would be the best bet but ver that hmr is better. i didnt use my 22lr that much so i perfer the hmr. if im shooting from 4x4 then 22lr is better for that i think. and more silent and cheaper
  2. still get the best glass you can find. yes you wont be shooting out to as long ranges as say hmr or centrefires. but at night under lamp thats when the more dear optics pay off

  11. secondhand bushnell elite 4200 tactial. you wont find better glass for £300 pound
  12. hi mate i just perfer the fell of the annie and sako more then the cz. and in my eyes if you get a better feeling with a rifle 9 times out of 10 you will shoot better with it. the cz isnt any less accurate i just perfer the annie. but in 22lr the cz i had was super so i didnt need to spend a fortune on a annie 22lr to get accuracy out to 100 yards.
  13. 22lr has probably shot more fox's than any other calibre, the only reason for this is that there are so many 22lr's in cerculation they will also have wounded the most fox's aswell...rim fires arnt any use what so ever as a dedicated fox round..hmr will just about do the job but its like knocking a wall down with a toffee hammer....there's so many world class shooters on thl that will claim extreme long range shots on the lamp with what ever calibre..the reality is that even with a centre fire the average will be little over 150 yards if that...if your getting into shooting get a rim fire, leav
  14. you would only need the better mounts if your shooting the zeiss at long range and i mean long. i set mine up yesterday at 100 yards and sitill have lots of adjustment to get out past 500 yards if needed. but thats not a problem for me as i dont shoot at that range anyway.

  16. as above. will do the job easy at closer range up to 100 yards with head shot. but i would stick to around yards. if you want a foxing gun tho get a centrefire. more room for error. i wouldnt use hmr for a body shot on a fox like i would with centrefire
  17. there is no difference in accuracy in any of them really. sako the name says it all super rifles but abit long i think. annie lovely smooth bolt and trigger, carbine barrel so good in the jeep. for the price tho there wood work ie the stock isnt a very good finish. inless you get the thumbhole one. i had the cz style nickel finish done the trigger smoothed the bolt. and took alot of rabbits with it. my money would go one one of them. if i was after hmr then i would get sako or annie.
  18. i like going round in the 4x4 soild platform to shoot off and if you get on the back gives you more view and saver shot
  19. just a nice butler creek foam padded sling will do the job well mate. i have on on my hb 22/250 and it takes the weight no prob
  20. go for it mate. for the money i think there be a soild rifle and has some nice things about it. if its like there shotguns then it will be soild

  22. get the trigger done next mate it will make a hell of a difference
  23. havent used the scope mounted lamp of these but if it was me i would get the lightforce. i also would get it from somewhere else then there. because there dear there and the service isnt that good i have found. they have a habit of seeling you something then it dont turn up ? you phone and then ask why it hasnt ? they then tell you it is out of stock
  24. hi dicehorn what 22/250 have you got mate ? i will be using the 50 grain bullets trying nostler and vmax. but i have been told the 52 grain amax is very good to and even though there target bullets im told alot of people use them on fox to ? and they do the same job as the vmax ? Hi Jamie One is a Blaser R93 Luxus the other is a Remington 700 tactical with H & N stock with triple crowned barrel and Jewell trigger I actually use the 55 gr V max - this IMHO is the weight this calibre was designed for the remmy is 1 in 12 twist isnt it ? mine is 1 in 14 im sure so 50 mi
