Some pr!ck decided to drive his artic over the Forth Road Bridge despite all the signs telling him not to. Inevitably the lorry was blown over, damaging the bridge. The bridge has been closed all day and the traffic in central Scotland chaotic. What a tosser!!!

'Forced to flee' says the Mirror!!! Surely anyone 'heckling' could have been put straight pretty easily on what the black faces are all about? I watched the whole clip and didn't hear one boo or heckle. I actually quite enjoyed it, and it didn't look nearly as gay as I thought it would ?

Done Kilimanjaro, Machame route a few years ago. Worst thing about the whole thing was the 'toliets'. The smell is indescribable ??

It's complicated no doubt but personally I believe assisted suicide should be enabled for those with a terminal condition and only at a specific stage in their suffering. I watched my own mother suffer before she eventually died. And although I can't prove it, I believe that there was an element of 'passive euthanasia' in her final moments. If so then I'm glad that someone was able to relieve her pain. It sounds like your own ma was a real fighter with all those ailments, but I'm guessing that her suffering was eased and her life prolonged by the wonders of modern medicine? Medicine no

I think the issue we have is less that someone should be allowed to end their life before it becomes intolerable due to illness, and more with the mechanics of their requiring assistance. I'm 100% for assisting very sick people end their suffering and would do it for my loved ones as I hope they'd do it for me. Like you I think the overwhelming majority of people would agree. We just need to get the politicians to get their fingers out their arses and get on with delivering what the people want..., and need.

They may well have done..., and they may not. All I said is that the darts they threw back then wouldn't see them close to the top boys nowadays. Even the likes of Taylor & Barney struggle to win titles now and they haven't got worse.., the competition's just got better.

Hearn has done a great job changing the image of the sport but he couldn't have made it the success it is without the improvements made by the quality of play we see now. I think Taylor takes huge credit for that as he set the bar. The final saw averages of 107 (MVG) & 104 (GA) with 44 180's hit! The high scoring and the lethal doubling makes it a much more exciting game to watch. The truth is that the darts the likes of Bristow, Wilson & Lowe threw back in the day might not get them through qualifying for the PDC worlds.

If his family gave a toss about him and what he'd done I doubt those medals would have wound up getting left on an abandoned farm. Sell them and give the money to a veterans charity.
