    Hat’s off to Warren and BT, I thought it was a very good nights boxing with a lot of well matched fighters producing quality entertainment. Edited to add.., think this was during one of the earlier bouts (maybe Garton v Corcoran). Apparently Millwall boys.., seemed to go on for a while.

    Ageing is a ba5tard. I’m only 46 and have already lost count of the number of times I’ve climbed the stairs, or found myself stood in my socks in a freezing cold garage with absolutely no idea what, just 30 seconds ago, I was desperately looking to find.     Hmmm, I wouldn’t hang about there for too long, especially if you hear the sound of banjo playing.     Seems mostly everyone round me is a miserable baystard..., or maybe that’s just the effect I have on them? Think a lot of people measure happiness, not on quality of life, but the quantity of shit they have, or don’t have..., especially when comparing it to their peers. And I’m not immune from it. Thing is I’m at my happiest fishing a rise on a June evening, or walking a field on a blowy winters night.., and that costs very little, just time. What I think most lack is a sense of perspective.     Usual crackpot logic Max. Maybe the gravy would love you to manage SAFC what with your passion. They’d need to get used to getting pumped week in week out in non-league football though. Boxing like football and all other popular TV sports are ruled by broadcasters and big business. I think that’s ripped a lot of the heart out if sport, but make no mistake, the likes of Fury moan about the game only because they’re losing.     Never mentioned his trainer Max. Pro boxing can be a short career and a prospect like Hughie should be fighting on big bills in this country..., that’s just my opinion. Why wouldn’t he want to make same money as other fighters at his level? I mean, he’s 24 and already narrowly lost a world title fight and it barely made the news ffs.
