    Before I get hammerd for saying somthing daft I do not know anything about the law regarding cattys so here goes I was shooting a couple cans at the end of the garden againsed the shed not doing any harm just the daily target practice that I've done for months but today I hit the shed a couple times running and the nabour came running out shouting who's fireing a gun I poked my head over the fence and said no gun I'm just shooting a few cans with me catty response was oh ok with a bewilderd look think she thought someone was shooting her cats I get on with her but thought if she rang old bill

    Just wondering what mm ply do you use for catty making and is there any particular type that's best or any ply the right thickness will do I fancy having a go after recently buying one my boy wants one so think I'll have a go at making 1

    As mentioned I fancy buying a new catty I've looked in the buy and sell section and all seem old posts so to whoever has got any for sale post some pics on this thread please not fussed on style just as long as it takes flat bands or you can supply me with some looped band things (don't mind paying extra for them ) not sure if I'm allowed to post this here but hey here goes

    Let's just say we all enjoy our sport if it be north south East or west I expect there are simalar numbers of dog men in most county's throughout our pleasant land just some like to compare dick sizes more than others ;-)

    Been out today cleared wilko out of [BANNED TEXT] hex nuts as they don't stock m10 by the looks of it ;-( I'm suprised at how straight they fly one thing I want to know is what is the best setup meaning length and taper of single bands so I can start there as I've mullered my current bands and don't have much tbg left maybe enough to cut 1 more set untill my delivery arrives any help would be great thanks

    Yes I know I sort of answed my own question but what feels right /nice to shoot might not be enough to knock them over I'm only gauging it on black widow is in the middle double bands are harder to draw/ hold and single bands are more like my fishing catty light easy to hold but dnt feel that powerfull but if my ammo is light I suppose I'll have to give it ago and see ;-)

    Don't think this dog has seasons it works all year round and fair play cracking dog and cracking pics as always you seem to take only what you need a few bunnys a week as it should be long may it continue I love your little mooching topics

    Mines only really been showing a real interest the last few months he's 15 months now you won't really be working it for a while yet anyway so don't panic mine started going out watching and getting maybe 1 or 2 super easy slips at about 10month he chased and caught them but was still very puppyish very bouncy and more interested in my mates dogs than the lamp but he's calmed right down now and always head up watching while out on walks atb

    It was sugested to me last week to maybe ditch the second band and just use single bands my ammo is 9.5mm ssbb and will be m10 hex nuts when I buy some oh my bands are tbg 8.5" 30 to 25mm taper will this be enough to drop them ? I've set my catty up on singles and feels much better on singles than doubles did it late so can't try it out till the morning

    Not in my wilko we don't I'm cursed I reckon as I can't but asda bands local either lol I'll keep an eye out it in other stores on my travels

    Speak to longers7 his cattys are the best I've seen if I was to buy 1 I'd only go to him but there is much satisfaction in making your own and plenty of lads on here to give advice or tips

    would like to say a massive thankyou to strong stuff for my collar ive lost your number so cant txt and say thanks so thought id post publicly i ordered a collar spesific to my requirements colour , size , ring and buckle metal type and also had my dogs name embossed into the collar great price and very fast finishing fast posting its well up to the job my bull cross has destroyed 3 lurcher collars in the last year no way he is doing the same to this one its strong enough for a rhino so if any one is thinking about strong stuff look no further there the best bar none
